Book was as in good shape, even better, than as described!

Covers 6-Rad versions and 8-Rad versions only. Good selection of B/W photos of training, prewar, and wartime vehicles with descriptive captions. Absent are the usual line drawings, detailed descriptions of developemnt, and color plates common to most of the "In Action" series. Worth the money.

Just the reference material that I need for the models that I am building. Lots of pictures. Lots of documentation

Great book and good reference.

The newer In Action series gives you 80 pages vs 40, both share excellent black & white photos. This book lacks the 2 pages of color pages of color plates to help the modeler in painting cammo schemes. Gone too are the line drawings that showed the reader the differences in variants as the vehicle developed.The real reason for 3 stars is that the subject matter is too large. Each type of German Armored car 6x6 and 8x8 needs to have its own book to do the subject matter justice. This is an excellent resource for a modeler to use for dioramas because the photos do show the vehicles in all types of weather with gear all over them. Perfect for that - but it lacks the detail needed to cover the dozens of variants each vehicle type had.Well written, good info. Good addition to the library if you already have other books on the German ACs in WWII.

Exactly what I asked for. Very prompt delivery.I would have no hesitation in using Betterworld in future. I would also recommend Squadron/Signal books and wish that mainstream bookshops in the UK stocked this publisher alongside Osprey.
