This was an exact replacement. Perfect fit. Just know when unscrewing base you may drop them screws. Lens pop in good. And make sure your ground cable is reattached.

Worked like a dream,
Although the ad’s picture was misleading, the clear dome light inserts fit perfectly on my 1997 Chevy truck. They,we’re super easy to install and looked like the original inserts.
