Simple to use, but good result!
It's very simple to use, and you don't need a gooseneck kettle or barista skill in water flow control. I experimented with different levels of bean roasting/grinding against emersion times. It's a good companion for exploring different beans with different roasting and grinding levels.

Relatively simple. Warning: Course grind only or use very low dose.
Not an every day brewer. But it's great for an on the go or a low dose high extraction recipe. Best to use a course grind to prevent astringency, bitterness and over extraction as that's pretty easy to do with this brewer. Pretty easy to get it pretty close to perfect with practice. And very easy to repeat a certain extraction exactly, so I like it for comparing different beans.

Excellent Pourover Brewer With a Few Quirks
UPDATE: as of now (12/24), I have made well over 200+ brews in the Pulsar. In short it is by far the best pourover brewer I have used and is now my go-to brewer for my daily pourover coffee. I'm not throwing out my other brewers, but this one is my favorite and gets used more than anything else. The resulting cup and consistency puts it well ahead of any other pourover brewer I have used.I've been using this brewer for a couple of weeks now and have enjoyed the coffee it makes. That said, the device is not without some quirks. My first attempt led to a watered down brew with grounds in the coffee because the body was not seated correctly in the base. Out of the box, the rubbery base material is quite stiff and you will need to apply some force against a hard, flat surface in order to assemble the brewer correctly and get a good seal around the paper filter. I found that rinsing the base with warm water made it more flexible and easier to assemble.Another issue is the shower screen lid. If you are not careful, the way the screen slows the water down may lead you to pour from your kettle too fast and over-pour the water for your recipe. My advice is to pour at at a controlled, slow and steady pace and pay attention to your scale rather than the water column height in the body of the brewer.Note also that due to the shape of the brewer base, this brewer will not be a good match for all carafes and cups. My advice is to find one where the brewer fits well and is not barely balanced so as to tip over too easily BEFORE you begin brewing. If the brewer is not level enough your coffee bed will be uneven and that could lead to an uneven extraction. For light roast coffee, I grind using a burr gap of 780-810 microns, which is 26-27 clicks on a C40. This is slightly coarser than what I do for some cone dripper brews. If you are used to grinding near a Moka Pot grind size you will likely have to coarsen your grind in order to avoid filter clogging and bitter, over-extracted coffee. Depending on what grinder you have, you may have experiment a bit with your grind settings to find what works for you and the coffee you typically drink. The recipe I mainly use is 15g of coffee with three pours of 80ml-80ml-80ml. I usually steep the first pour with the valve closed for anywhere from 30 seconds to one minute, then I do the remaining pours with the valve 3/4 of the way open. Total brew time is ~3-4 minutes usually. If the coffee is too intense I will reduce the steeping time of the first pour.Next Level typically recommends doses of ~20g with this brewer due to the diameter of the coffee bed. I am probably pushing things a bit with the 15g dose and wouldn't recommend trying to go lower than that.I personally found that the coffee I get from this brewer is more nuanced and more consistent than what I get with a typical cone style dripper. Assembly and cleanup is a little more time consuming than most pourover devices but the result is worth it overall to me. If I was in a rush and needed to make coffee quickly I would probably choose a different brewing device.
