Most of this tea is buds, comprised of needle shaped tea buds with silvery white down on each grey-green leaf. This tea is hand processed by the Chinese gatherers into little balls resembling pearls, which open out charmingly in hot water. This is the reason why the tea is served in glasses, allowing the sight to be fully enjoyed. Up to five re-infusions can be made from the same serving of tea.
