Easy to use, going to leave a mark for sure
Easy to use, going to leave a mark for sure, trust me 34 years as a LEO. So first off, this is BIG. I guess if you are hiking you can put it in a back pack but you're not wearing this on your belt everyday. It is very powerful, I was surprised. Shot it 75 feet across my backyard and put a good size divot in the fence board. Keep in mind, just like a firearm, know what is beyond your target in case you miss! Its not too loud, somewhere between a BB gun and my small .22 Ruger rifle. I like the magazines easy to reload if needed. Going to put 2 hard projectiles then pepper ball. If you hit someone in the face or at close range you are going to cause injury, keep that in mind. If I was using this on a person, make sure you can articulate some threat to you or property. Good for my RV and camping. If you are shooting at animal, depending on the type of animal and/or close range you could possibly kill it. I bear I suspect you would make mad. Nice to have around.

100% HAPPY
I own a few guns but have always been intrigued by advertisements for something non-lethal. I ordered my Sabre last month and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend buying some extra ammo and a couple of CO2 cartridges as you are going to love a little practice shooting.

Packs a punch!
Bought this for my daughter since she was leaving for college and is not allowed a handgun of here own yet until she is 21. I spent 8 years in the military, and started shooting when I was 8, basically I have shot just about every weapon out there. I was amazed at the power this gun has! I would not want to get hit this. Its not just some paint gun, its got some serious knockdown power. Thinking of getting another for my wife as well. Great purchase.

Absolute Fair Review - PLEASE Read
This is a very good, very affordable product; it works as it's supposed to, but living in a very restricted State, the 'pepper ball' option is not legally obtainable, which may not perfectly deter a would-be assailant.I'm a BIG supporter of defending oneself in extremely dangerous circumstances, but if self-defense is not protected by the law, then this product would be the next best thing. With this product, you can ensure that you can legally defend yourself, but only if it can actually deter the assailant.Since I have only tested this product on metal targets, I cannot say if it'll be enough to deter someone without the 'pepper ball' option in my restricted State. Living in the State of California, 'pepper ball' projectiles are not legal to own (at the time of this review), and it is this fact that makes me believe that the product cannot fully protect someone. To ensure the best result in such a State, you must be accurate at hitting weak points and be lucky that the assailant runs away and does not come back after the first shot.Accuracy may be an issue both in the experience of the user and the function of the launcher. The launcher is pretty easy to use, just load, reload, and point and shoot. Loading the 12g CO2 cartridges and the ammo is very simple and easy to do. However, actually shooting and being accurate will take time to learn. The fiber optic sights only adjust elevation, and tests have shown that anything closer than 20 feet, the optics cannot adjust precisely to the target. The trigger pull isn't heavy, but trigger travel after the wall can cause enough movement to throw off your aim. My advice for all users: 1. Purchase more practice rubber rounds and practice, 2. Purchase extra mags for best coverage, 3. ONLY use top-brand CO2 cartridges for the best performance out of the launcher. The included 12g CO2 cartridges performed well. They managed to fire all 7 projectiles from one magazine, but only when taking slow and accurate shots. Firing multiple shots quickly will freeze the CO2 cartridge, causing jams with the launcher. While using an off brand 'ASG' CO2 cartridge, rubber projectiles jammed after the 3rd quick-firing successive shot. Some of the things that I liked about the launcher: you can see if there is a projectile in the chamber, but the mag stopper and rubber projectiles are both black, so it can be hard to see if there is another rubber projectile ready to fire or is empty. There is no gas leakage from the magazine, the launcher does expel gas when unloading the magazine. Lastly, the Picatinny rail is your standard Picatinny and can mount flashlights and lasers. One thing that I really don't like about the launcher is that it's pretty bulky. I'm a size small in gloves, and this launcher is pretty big in my hands. There's about an inch of space when holding the launcher between my thumb and middle finger. I definitely need both hands when stabilizing the launcher for shooting.***Items included in the package include: Launcher, Magazine, Soft Bag, Paper Target, Manual, Adjust Allen Key, 2x 12g CO2 Cartridges, 7x Black Rubber Projectiles, 14x "Paintball" ProjectilesAll-in-all, this product is one of the best of the cheapest self-defense launchers in the market, but without the 'pepper ball' option, it feels and looks like a paintball launcher. Again, I cannot say whether this product will perfectly defend you from a would-be assailant, but it'll have a lot more range and cause much more psychological damage than other defense tools. Be safe out there, and PRACTICE being safe!

Very happy with purchase
I bought this item for self defense out of state. This launcher came exactly as it looks in the photos. My wife and I tested it and it worked very well. It's accurate and powerful. It's a bit larger than a regular gun, but does fit inside my comfortac belly band. The only downside is the Co2 cartridge needs to be punctured for the magazine to be properly inserted and ready to use, as opposed to the Byrna which doesn't puncture until the trigger is pulled. But for the price difference, I'd consider that a small tradeoff. Also, in the description of the product is says black. However, it came yellow like the picture. It would be more intimidating of it was black. Neither of these things bother me enough to take a star away as it works very well.

Powerful, but not safe, reliable, or well-designed.
Powerful, but not safe, reliable, or well-designed. This gun, when it works, is very powerful. It seems to be 50% more powerful than the Byrna gun. Beware. The company does not accept returns even when the product is dysfunctional, and this thing is dysfunctional. The safety is built into the hand grip so if you pick up the gun the safety is immediately disengaged. The CO2 cartridge is built into the magazine so when you fire six shots and want to reload, CO2 gas is expelled when you drop the cartridge. This wastes probably half the CO2 cartridge just to reload. I think I loaded it three times before it ran out, and this uses the 12 gram cartridge, not the 8 gram like the Byrna uses. The worst problem I had was misfiring and jamming. The first two of three shots fired great. They went through two sheets of cardboard backed by a 1/4th inch plywood like butter. Then it would not fire. It would jam and I had to remove the magazine (losing CO2 again) to remove the round projectile that came with the gun. I tried better ammo but they all jammed. I was buying it for my wife, but it is not safe or reliable. If you want an air gun that is powerful and shoots two or three rounds, and you don't need a true safety feature, and you have a box full of 12 gram cartridges, and you don't mind it jamming after three rounds, this gun is for you. I don't know if my gun was a lemon, but I do know this is a bad design, both the safety feature and the location of the CO2 cartridge.
