Does everything it is suppose to.
What a difference in my playing. Large sweet spot. Allows me to get a little spin on my serves. I could not be happier with this paddle.

Great value!
This pickleball paddle is exactly what I was looking for- easy to control (spin and shot placement), lightweight, and a comfortable grip that feels ultra-secure even when you get sweaty.

Light with a good grip.
I've only tried a couple different paddles, but I like it. Lightweight, and allows for good spin on some shots.

Finding My Swing
Though I've been playing pickleball for over a year, I still consider myself a beginner. I've been using a cheap paddle all this time, and when I received this nice professional paddle, I hoped it would instantly transform me into a champion. Unfortunately, a better paddle doesn't magically make a better player. As I continue to improve, I've noticed a few key differences in this paddle. The handle is the first thing I noticed. It's made of a rubbery material that feels quite different from my old paddle. While it feels nice, I added a soft fabric wrap to make it more familiar. The weight and balance of this paddle are impressive. It feels more powerful than my old paddle, but I haven't quite mastered how to control that power yet. The paddle's face allows me to put more spin on the ball, which is something my old paddle couldn't do. It's exciting to see the ball curve, but I need more practice to control it consistently. Overall, I like the paddle, but it will take time to get used to. Hopefully, with more practice, I'll be able to harness its power and become a more skilled player.

Delivers on all the claims so far
I love how this SLK paddle brings the feel, control and even power from higher end performance paddles to this price point. First off this paddle came well packaged with just some plastic packaging and no cover or case. The build and quality look excellent from edge to edge. The paddle feels medium-light in the hands despite the larger surface area and smaller handle. For those who want a solid two-handed grip, you might want to consider the XL model. I was still able to get two hands on this but it was a little cramped and I have medium-large hands. At the kitchen line, this paddle has plenty of feel and control. Guiding the ball over the net and resetting attack shots felt very natural with this paddle even without any modifications. Off center shots were forgiving and the paddle did not twist excessively and the power didn't drop off dramatically toward the edges. The paddle swings easily so generating power on fuller swings was easy to achieve. Out of all the performance metrics, I'd say in my initial play testing, the pop of this paddle scores the lowest. There is still good pop on volleys and blocks, but this paddle shines more on control and softening attacks. If you have developed a good punch or flick, this paddle will still be a weapon in your hands. I'd definitely recommend this paddle for beginner to intermediate players who are looking for a well-rounded all-court paddle that leans control at a lower price point. Folks with larger hands that use a two-handed backhand should consider the XL, and those who want this paddle but with a little more power should consider adding some tungsten or lead tape.

Good beginners Paddle
I am a fan of the Latitude line by SLK. They are great quality starter paddle. The Lattitude line comes in several colors, and the Max shape is a good all around shape. I prefer the Lattitude over their starter set Neo set in terms of performance. If you are a beginner and have zero experience with any record sport, this is a good choice. If you are coming from Tennis or squash, you may out grow this paddle in a few months. Even with that I think it is good to start with one of these, and pass it on once you out grow it.
