Andar Leather Slim Wallet, Minimalist Front Pocket RFID Blocking Card Holder Made of Full Grain Leather - The Scout

I purchased the Andar Leather Slim Wallet in black and I've been using it for a couple of weeks now.I think it's a fantastic wallet. It's exactly what I was looking for to replace my old bulky bi-fold wallet. It's very compact and fits nicely in my front pocket. The quality of the leather looks great and the stitching is excellent. It's still slim and compact even placing my cards and cash into it.The wallet has 7 card slots which is fantastic. I placed 3 credits cards, 1 debit card, my driver's license, health insurance card, office key card (it's about 2-3 credit cards thick), and a $20 bill into the wallet. The 4 credit cards were placed into the 4 individual top slots. My license and health insurance were placed on the 2 side slots. My key card and $20 bill were placed together into the middle slot.I don't have any issues removing any of the 6 cards I have on the top/side slots. I have slight difficulty in removing the key card/bill from the middle slot due to the size of the key card. I don't really have any issues with that though since I don't generally have a reason to remove the key card or cash. I would rather not have to touch or carry around paper money but it still has its uses every once in a while I guess.The wallet DOES indeed block RFID for credit/transit cards. I tested it myself with my Smart transit card at my local Train station. The scanner would not detect the card in any of the slots. I tried every single slot just to make sure. My office key card still works just fine because it doesn't run at the same frequency.I'm glad I purchased the Andar wallet. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for a compact wallet with fantastic build quality.

This is a great little wallet! I was looking for something small to carry in a front pocket without adding too much bulk, and this one hit the spot. After trying several others from amazon I was lucky to come across this one at a decent price, with quality leather!The Andar Scout is light enough that I forget my wallet is in my pocket even wearing gym shorts. Great purchase.Able to carry about 10 cards and 5-10 bills easily.The only suggestion I'd have is in the design- I enjoy all the slots, but would alternate which direction that credit cards are inserted to make it even slimmer. The way wallets are sewn/folded around credit card slots doubles the leather for reinforcement but this adds a little more thickness. Have had this wallet for about a week. Like its slim profile, numerous sleeves to carry cards/cash, color and condition of leather are nice.  Good size, real leather ( kind of odd smell ) it does protect your cards against RFID theft. Be aware that is really leather and if you stretch it with a lot of content it may stay that way. I just keep 4 plastic cards plus 2 paper cards and at the time of the video 12 folded US bills. Had the opportunity to test the RFID protection, here's a short video at the hotel's door.

It is as you can imagine, very compact and light. Stitching feels strong and all of the card slots are very tight so you feel comfortable that they won't be sliding out. If you have more than 1 card in a slot its actually very difficult to get them out, but this wallet is obviously not built for stuffing as much into it as you can. It is great carrying a couple necessary cards, id, and cash.My 1 complaint, one of my credit cards is made of metal instead of plastic. I had card in one of the front slide pouch for just a day and it has now formed a slight bend in it. When the wallet has cash inside and a card in the back the stitching between the 2 pouches pushes forward on the cards in the front pocket, giving them a slight bend at all times. Wont matter for most plastic cards or an ID, just in my instance this was an issue.

Wallet looks and feels great. It is however very tight, at least in the beginning. I have 4 cards, an ID, and a thin insurance card filling the 6 slots. Then I put cash in the middle pocket. With about five bills in the pocket, trying to pull them out I ripped one of the bills, so I had to take out all of the cards to prevent further damage to the cash and get it out. Maybe I should put cash in one of the side slots instead, but they all feel very tight to pull cash in and out. Starting to regret not getting a clip. This wallet would be perfect if only one side had slots and had a thin clip on the back side. Will update to 4 stars if this wallet breaks in and I can remove cash more easily, but so far it is difficult to use.EDIT: 3 months later and I am increasing this rating from 3 to 4 stars. It has definitely broken in and if I don't push my cards all the way in, they will actually slide out very easily and fall out if I turn it upside down. I need to keep all the slots full, otherwise my cards will fall out. Not a big deal since "full" for this wallet means 4 cards plus an ID. Happy with this wallet after 3 months and glad I have it because it keeps me conscious about what I'm carrying rather than shoving a 3" bulky wallet in my pocket.
