Can't go wrong with this eGPU dock - high quality and reliable performance
I ended up disassembling mine and mounting it in a custom chassis But that said, this is a great eGPU dock - hard to beat the competitive price, solid build, and reliable performance. Of course oculink is subject to a lot of inconsistency if interference or signal integry becomes an issue, but that comes with the territory. For the ambitious graphics enthusiast looking towards the future of hardware interconnectivty, it is clear external pci-e functionality like this will play a dynamic role in the future of edge computing and special use cases. Without regard for the manufacturer documented usage instructions, I experimented with powering 2x units of the DEG1 with a single Power supply. My test was successful and I have 2x DEG1 eGPU dock RTX 3060 powered on a 750watt PSU. This is just my test setup and I can't advise attempting this, as it is entirely undocumented, unwarranted usage of this device. That said, mine have been working well and I am thinking about buying another DEG1 soon :)

Works great for a eGPU setup
Simple design and worked perfectly for my onexplayer X1 pro. There was some software issues with Windows that I needed to find a solution online with Nvidia drivers. Once I fixed that it worked perfectly.

Happy buyer.
The original unit failed after the warranty had expired. Once the Seller became aware of the situation, they proactively reached out and offered to replace it with a new unit. They provided a prepaid shipping label, and I returned the original unit without issue. The replacement works perfectly, and I’m thoroughly impressed with this Seller’s service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Absolutely the best OCuLink dock on the market!
Absolutely the best external GPU dock. The OCuLink adapter makes it a lot easier to plug and unplug the GPU from the PC. The mechanism holding up the PSU and the GPU is sturdy and easy adjust if necessary. I have the dock plugged in to an HP ProDesk 600 G5 Mini and with an AMD RX5600 XT and it makes for a great emulation setup with all the details cranked up at 1440p, as well as my Zwift PC. Overall I'm super happy with it and compared to other solutions like the ADT-Link docks, this one is just drastically better. Added a video to demonstrate the power on of the dock/video card when the PC is powered on, apologies for the crying cats lol

Love this unit
Works well with my GTX 3090TI. Does not come with power supply so you must provide with cables. Super easy setup. Do wish it had some led light on it.

Great Dock
I needed to run an eGPU on my desktop temporarily because my GPU wouldn't fit until I replaced the stock cooler with a waterblock. I used this dock with a PCIe to OCuLink card. It has a good aesthetic design and seems to be of reasonable quality. One thing to note is that if you unscrew the bottom panel, there are a few switches. One of them is labeled "FFLOW START", and I noticed that flipping this switch would make the auto-start work correctly on my PC. I assume the default position for that switch is specific to Minisforum PCs. Just be careful as the switches are quite delicate.

Great Dock
Really great dock, I love the build quality vs others on the market. Once assembled with my AMD RX 9070XT and ATX PSU it is a solid unit. You definitely don't have to worry about the GPU falling over with this one. I have had zero problems with this dock connected to my Dell Micro, and didn't have to use a ReDriver nvme adapter. If you can use OCuLink in your host device, this is a great pick. My Setup: PC: Dell Pro Micro QCM1250 OS: Fedora Linux 43 KDE Plasma Dock: Minisforum DEG1 GPU: AMD RX 9070XT Adapter: RIITOP SSF-8612 to NVMe

Buying this was an informed decision. DEG1 caught my eye because it's so much cheaper than a lot of the others out there, but has bunch of good reviews. The design is simple and to the point - it’s a barebones, open-air dock that's basically just a bracket for your GPU and PSU (which obviously needs to be bought separately). Well built, its not a plastic toy but aluminium body. It all works with OCuLink, which is a lot quicker than Thunderbolt or USB4. I was able to pair it with my Minisforum MS-A2 and AI-X1-Pro and it consistently pushes more bandwidth than usb4/Thunderbolt. It's brill for gaming and other demanding tasks like video editing. With a mid-tier card, I'm getting desktop-level performance, running 'triple-A' games in 2K/4K in high or ultra settings and getting pretty much high fps rates. For what it does its a really good value. Honestly, my only regret is not picking one up ages ago. Recommended.

Absolutely superb Unit. Paired with a Aoostar Gem12+ over OCuLink. It has an RTX 3070 in it, resizable bar enabled. 120-140fps on high settings (DLSS Quality) on COD Warzone & Battlefield. Cannot recommend high enough. Fantastic piece of kit for excellent price. I’ve played all manner of games and even harnessed the benefits of egpu for AI. Throughly recommend this item. Comes with an OCuLink cable too!

It works as intended, it holds the PSU and Gpu together firmly, I didn't follow any instructions as I think it is very straightforward.
