It Works Wonders!
Amazing product and so happy I found it! My kitchen grout was terrible and completely unable to clean it no matter what I tried. Application was easy and was able to do the entire kitchen twice with one pen. There are many comments about the felt tip, I was able to flip the tip when one end stopped working. There was also an additional tip provided on the pen cap. I completed this project about three weeks ago and still looks great and cleans up well when I spill something. Highly recommend!

Works great!
After reading all the negative reviews, I took a chance anyway. I had just painted by kitchen backsplash (I'm so happy to get rid of the old brown!!) but ended up just painting everything including the grout as it was way to difficult to avoid it. I decided to go back over the grout with a kids paintbrush. I hated it. Couldn't keep it even and some of the bristles always got white on the tile. No matter what brush I used, no good results so it was either buy this grout pen or leave it all one color. So I bought the grout pen and it worked fabulously!! And no, it did not wash off!!! It stayed in the lines and looks great. I even painted over the polyurethane coating I put over the gray paint to make it shinny. My next side I plan to paint the grout before putting the polyurethane coat on to help seal it. We'll see which looks best but so far so good!! Took a bit for the pen to work which worried me but then it started going and going well! I'm including a picture but keep in mind, my hand wasn't the most steady, but it's a worlds better than the paint brush.

Works pretty good but could but the tips could be made better
Once the grout is cleaned as good as you can this product makes the grout look like new.The only problem is that it doesn't go to far as the felt tip of the grout pen wears down to soon for a 4 by 4 foot bath room you might need 4 pens to be safe. What I had to do is cut out the opening and use a real fine thin brush to get the rest of the remaining paint out.As the felt tip wears even though it has two tips they both wear from the rough grout against the tip.To bad they can't make the tip out of a more stronger tip ( maybe a hard plastic)????instead of felt....overall the grout looks like new and I than went over it with a silicon base to make the grout less pores which in the long run will keep it from staining again. Recommendation get a good pair of knee pads......I also used a drill with a rotary brush with a mixture of half bleach and half water to first clean the grout.I used the bright white pen...

Transformed my bathroom!
My bathroom was completely remodeled four years ago but the grout started to look dirty where we walked the most within just a couple months. I've tried to clean it in many different ways but I could never get it to look clean. I hated the grout and I felt like my whole bathroom looked terrible because of it. This pen has made a huge difference in my bathroom! I love it! It looks brand new again. The paint pen was really easy to use and the best part is that it is odorless and dries very fast. Some lines needed a double coat. I think this pen would work best on wider grout lines and with porous grout. When applying I just did small sections and I had to shake the pen often and press the tip down to get the paint flowing freely. The tip held up great. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Did not work in my shower
TL;DR, this was annoying to apply and did not last a month in my shower. The directions on the package make it sound like you can simply fill in the grout lines and be done with it, but this is misleading. The website says not to get the get the grout wet for three days or to scrub it for twenty. I cleaned my shower, let it dry overnight then followed those rules and it flaked off the first time I washed it. Not only did it not last, but the application was very tedious. For some reason the paint simply wouldn't stick to the grout in certain sections. This is also difficult to use if your tiles have uneven sections where the grout is too deep or the tiles are too close together. Sometimes the paint just stopped flowing. I think I wasted about half the pen just pumping it on a piece of paper to get it flowing again, as I could often only paint a quarter of an inch before the paint stopped.

Skimpy amount
This works FANTASTIC. Covers well, 0 odor, easy to use. Would give it 5 stars; however had to use two of these! to do the grout on a small bathroom floor measuring 5'X 5'! Not sure about longevity but other brands I've tried typically only last a year or two.

Completely Transformed the Appearance of Two Bathrooms! Great product.
Unfortunately, I discovered that this product exists late in the game - I had already spent many hours working with a variety of toxic chemicals (including muriatic acid) to try to clean up my 14-year-old grout that lies between the natural stone floor tiling in my 2 bathrooms. I did what a could (an improvement but still heavily stained) and then sealed the grout with Miracle Sealants 511 Grout/Stone sealant. The very next day, I discovered this pen on Amazon (it's $2.50 cheaper at Home Depot) and ordered one. I was not about to try to remove the sealant that I'd just applied and, despite what others have said here, I used this product very successfully. It seemed to adhere quite well, despite the grout having already been sealed but I wasn't about to take any chances and applied Miracle Sealants 511 Grout/Stone sealant again, over this layer of paint, using a Home Depot sealant applicator for walls (Model#:19999X, Store SKU#: 468504 Grout Sealer Applicator Brush Bottle for Walls) as the one for floors (with a rotating wheel to roll along the grout line) received lousy online reviews. Several reviewers complained that the applicator tip on grout pen was not hardy enough to last out the paint contents of the pen. I had not problem with this but I did wonder if the problems experienced were from users who pressed too hard on the felt tip as it moved across the (abrasive) surface of the grout. I found that constant pressure was quite unnecessary to ensure paint flow and. I did have to wipe the edges of some of the tiles that got streaks of paint where the grout line was particularly narrow.
