Every thing about the functions to the looks is great. If they add a little window to the top so we can just put our hand and pull the item without having to unzipper that will make it PERFECT.

This is comparable to the Yeti Flip 12 cooler. I can't find anything online about the Sparter Brand. They do make a couple cheaper backpack coolers that are available on Amazon. This cooler arrived very well packaged, double boxed and completely safe. It comes with an ice pack. shoulder strap, and zipper lube. The build quality seems really good. No flaws or defects with mine. It is very rugged and made with good materials. It is really nice and looks great. Capacity: It fits 12 cans along with the included ice pack. You could then still fit in some ice cubes on top of that. The storage area has two angled corners on the front. The ice pack does too. I looked up the Yeti Ice packs you can get. The largest one won't fit in this cooler because of the angled corners. The smaller ones will. Have not seen if Sparter will sell the ice packs separately.Ice retention: I looked up reviews of the Yeti version and ice retention seems to be 1 to 3 days depending on contents and conditions. 5 days like the ad says is stretching it. I put in the ice pack it comes with along with pre-chilled bottled water. I used a wireless thermometer to monitor the temperature. I opened the color once during the test. The cooler maintained a 44 degree temp for over 48 hours. By 60 hours it was over 50 degrees and the ice pack had thawed. This seems to be right in line with what the comparable Yeti gets based on reviews I found. Durability: It seems tough and well made. Only time will tell how it holds up. I can say that I'm going to take good care of it considering its price.Price: Right now this cooler is priced close to the Yeti. If it were significantly less it would be a great deal. Since I first requested it, they added a $30 off coupon. Maybe it will keep going down. If this were the same price as the Yeti Brand, I could see going with the Yeti.Overall, I really like this cooler. I wanted a nice one like this for a long time. It seems very well made and like it will hold up for a long time. It is a lot to spend on a small cooler. If the price comes down, this could be a pretty good Yeti alternative. I'm going to give this 5 stars based on performance and build quality. You will have to decide on what price point makes it worth it for you.Notes:- Comes with a re-freezable Ice Pack which is nice as well as a shoulder strap- Has diagonal front corners inside that would keep you from using the large square Yeti ice. Maybe Sparter will sell the same ice pack this unit comes with.- The build quality seems really good. It comes very well packaged and comes with zipper lube

This cooler is certainly sturdy. It comes with a large ice pack.but it lasted about a day. To last the four to seven days you need to fill it with fifteen pounds of ice. Kind of heavy to go trekking with that weight It might be handy with the ice during an extended blackout. With the ice pack it is fine ine for spending the day outdoors or when travelling. It is a nice sturdy cooler that is leak proof but frankly overpriced.

Nice cooler, keeps items cold. Nice size. A little pricey, but very nice quality.

I feel like this could put Yeti to shame lol. It has some kind of state of the art zipper that you'll need to oil from time to time, which it comes with. It very well made and is really heavy duty!

This is a heavy duty cooler that has a large zipper that is difficult to zip but they do supply grease which is a nice touch. Zipped up much better after I installed the grease on zipper. Insulation is thick all the way around even on top of lid. Color and stitching is good quality and liner is very thick. Has heavy duty straps and is easy to carry. Only issues why 3 stars claim of days holding ice was not my experience at this price point. I put 3 bottles of water on ice and within 24 hours had only water in the cooler. Now this test was also indoors. So outside ice will melt quicker. This is a nice cooler but do not expect 5 days and you will still have ice.

The massive ice pack it comes with is amazing and works so well. Can hold so much - we are a fam of 6 and it holds enough for all of us for a full day put
