ASICS Men's Gel-Kayano 31 Running Shoes

I’ve worn many running shoes over the years, but the ASICS Gel-Kayano 31 2E stands out as the best yet. The wider 2E fit is a game-changer—finally, a shoe that gives enough room without feeling sloppy. The cushioning is phenomenal; it absorbs impact effortlessly while still providing excellent stability for longer runs.The design in Steel Grey/Piedmont Grey looks sharp and modern, versatile enough for both running and casual wear. Breathability is excellent, and after several miles, my feet still feel fresh with no hotspots or discomfort.This shoe balances support, comfort, and style—this is it. I’d recommend the Gel-Kayano 31 to any serious runner or anyone who spends long hours on their feet.The arch support is great especially if you use custom orthotics.Absolutely worth the investment!

Great fitness shoe, not just for running. Fit is true to size, with a slightly wider toe box than Hoka and Adidas. Definitely more comfortable for me since I have a slightly wider foot. The amount of cushioning is also just right. I tried the New Balance 1080s and Hoka Cliftons and they had too much cushioning which made them less stable for runs and workouts. The Kayano is a stability running shoe so it makes sense. I purchased last year's model (Kayano 31) and saved $40 over this year's model.

As a 71 year old runner, having run 5 marathons, one under 3 hours, I’ve purchased alot of different shoes. That said, these shoes are undoubtedly the best that I’ve ever purchased. They are light, extremely comfortable, and have great support. In my first run, I immediately found that the built up heel and very firm midsole support facilitated weight transfer to the ball of my foot and guiding my step forward… something I had not experienced before with any other shoe. Daily, I run a 10k up and down a small mountain nearby with a 450’ climb and descent. The cushion this shoe provides to the ball of my foot and toes, particularly during descent, is really excellent. It enables me to descend quietly, quicker, and without fear of injury.Clearly, this shoe surpasses any shoes I’ve ever owned before!

After reading about this particular shoe on a number of different sites, I decided to purchase a pair. The primary reason was that I was suffering from symptoms of plantar fasciitis and this shoe was recommended to provide necessary arch support to alleviate the pain. They required almost no breaking in and I could tell early into my 5 mile walk that these shoes offered great support and I didn’t have the pain that I had been experiencing after my walks and taking of my shoes. My feet weren’t hurting or aching. That was what I was hoping for and I found it with these shoes. Highly recommended.

I will purchase from this seller again.I've purchased ASICS Gel-Kayano Running Shoes before this. They were durable and held up very well for up to a couple of years of regular use.The tread on this pair has started to detach after just a few times wearing them. ASIC's quality has decreased in comparison to my first pair. For the price, I expected much higher quality. I don't recommend these and will not purchase ASICs again. I will be returning these for a replacement.

So far it has been a great motion control shoe I am using for golf, hiking and tennis. So far it is holding up comfortable and supportive. Good shoe.

Best running shoe I’ve ever bought. The stupid amount of cushion, not only helps my flat feet, but helps quite a bit with my knees. They have lasted a year, which is pretty nuts when you take into account that it’s a running shoe, so short term use. Great traction and functionality, and fit. The arch support on this is pretty good.After a year of hard use, running an hour every day these things lasted like a champ, did not expect that. R inning shoes aren’t exactly known for durability. Wil buy these again and again.
