Another winner from KC.
I do like KC's work and this was no exception. It is an easy read, which, had I not had other things to do, I am fairly sure I would have devoured it in one go. Her main female characters have an endearing mix of insecurity and strength/competence while the males, while often slow to appreciate what is right in front of them, manage to do the right thing in the end. I don't think we ever found out why the dog felt the need to leap at her and I'm not sure that I liked her work colleague's motivation, but it all sat neatly together. Gladly recommended.

Lovable charactersš©·
Thereās a thin line between love and hate, Katie would know since sheās been burned before. Taking the risk and getting burned again isnāt appealing but her job is on the line so sheās out of choices. Profiling Hutch a member of the coastguard should be easy enough but the lies inevitably catch up to her.The love haters delves into some difficult topics that make for an incredible story with a lot of depth. Katie is the star of the show and one of the most relatable, real characters Iāve seen for some time. Katie has struggled with body dysmorphia to some extent for years. Her best friend burned her scale and is supporting her journey towards loving herself and her body. It may be a difficult topic for some but Center handles the topic with a lot of care. TW body dysmorphia, ED and loss of a loved one.The main characters have an incredible chemistry and you canāt help but root for them. The spice level is low, kissing only. There are lots of moments that made me crack up. Hutchās dog is comedic gold.I couldāve done without some of the lies created by Cole (Hutchās brother) but everyone still got their HEA so who am I to complain. If youāre in the right mental space I highly recommend picking this one up!Read this if you likeš«¶š¼Self empowermentš©·Opposites attractš«Character developmentš¼Found family

Loved loved
Loved that. Katie was such a good leading character, relatable and such a funny inner voice. Her journey in this was very real, a little heartbreaking, hopeful and heart warming. I loved so much that she learnt to see herself and love herself. Hutch was such a good leading man and I just loved watching him and Katie āhatingā each other. Cracking chemistry which made me giddy in that way that romance does. Also really liked the supporting characters in Beanie, Rue, the Gals and George Bailey. A really enjoyable read that left me with a smile on my face and warmth in my heart. 5āļø
