I have been using a lot of devices that use a micro SD card recently with my MacBook.Although there is an SD slot, I needed this adapter to read the cards.Works perfectly, attached to one of my free usbc ports and read the cards quickly and easily.

Love this gadget. Its a USBc unit that plugs straight into my Samsung phone and allows me to view files from my DSLR and underwater camera SD sticks. I'm always struggling to connect my cameras to WiFi when abroad and even sometimes when back in the UK, so it becomes a lengthy process to transfer files. This gadget allows me to pop the SD card into the unit, connected to my phone to view and save the images directly from my phone, making them easier to share. IMPORTANT DO REMEMBER TO DISMOUNT THE UNIT VIA THE SCREEN PROMPT BEFORE PHYSICALLY REMOVING THE UNIT FROM YOUR PHONE. This avoids mishaps and the phone going gaga prompting restarts. Pleased with this and its now a staple in my camera case.

The media could not be loaded.  This memory card reader works with my larger capacity memory cards, this solves the problem of old style memory card readers not reading cards above 16 GB.
