Great all-around EDC for tasks
Great size for a backup sized EDC task light, and punches above it's size/weight. Reverse clicky (change modes while keeping the flashlight "on") plus mode memory and reversible pocket clip is great for backup-work-light tasks. Tail stands, too. Good range for a 14500/AA flashlight compared to many competitors that are more floody for close range use (lower candela)... this reaches out with a defined hot-spot.I wanted to not like this light but it almost immediately found its way into my normal EDC rotation with the 14500 battery. Additionally, I tend to use the hat clips on my EDC flashlights and this size/clip/weight combo works great. Lower modes run long enough for shorter work use when a full size flashlight or headlamp is not available. If you want a small backup flashlight for good visibility for identifying/searching at 25 yards in real world use with the 14500 battery. If you are looking for an always-comes-on-hi 14500 flashlight with a forward clicky, I would suggest the "Weltool T1 Pro TAC" instead. However for everyday tasks with good distance, this is one of my favorite 14500 flashlights.

Wow I Love This Flashlight
The Nitecore MT1A Pro is a spectacular, compact, and powerful little flashlight. I took a few photos to compare it to the Streamlight Micro stream which is, of course, a much different flashlight but wanted to give a size reference.TLDR: BUY THIS FLASHLIGHT - It's awesome.I wear a large size glove and find that that width and girth of the Nitecore is perfect. It's still small enough to fit comfortably in my pocket and allow my hands to get a full purchase on the flashlight. The flashlight is bright enough for daily tasks at the 50 lumen setting and has options at 300 and 800 lumens for self defense, home defense, or other use. Personally - I love that this flashlight can easily flex into other spaces. The button click is soft enough where it's easier than the Streamlight options but not so soft that you'll find yourself accidentally turning the flashlight on in your pocket. The half click button press to switch between lumen settings is quick and easy and I love that the flashlight has a memory function to remember your last saved setting. The battery life on this is great. For daily tasks and using the light occasionally as my EDC light the flashlight can last a month on a single charge (easily). While the flashlight does get hot at the highest setting, I find that it's not unbearable like some other smaller, high powered flashlights. I returned a flashlight prior to ordering this one that got very hot and would accidentally turn on in my pocket. I hated that and thankfully this flashlight doesn't have that issue. All in all the Nitecore MT1A Pro is an amazing flashlight. Its small enough for every day carry and powerful enough to flex into spaces like daily tasks and into home defense.I would HIGHLY recommend this flashlight for anyone looking to upgrade their daily setup. Heck - when I showed my dad this flashlight he even went and bought one for himself!

Great little flashlight
Bought this for my wife to use when she walks our dog. She likes the simplicity of it. It has an on and off switch and half pressing the switch toggles through low, medium and high. She basically just uses it on high and just turns it on and off. It's small, bright, easy to use and lasts a long time on each charge. It's nice that the battery comes out to charge via USB-C. Perfect all around!

Great pocket light
Very good light. Ample lumens and throw for this size. I like that the battery can be replaced or a standard AA battery can be used. Great for throwing in the pocket and it's waterproof.

New compact flashlight
Compact. Brighter than my previous goto. Can use with AA battery as well as the included USB-c rechargeable battery. Versatility is more convenient in times of need. I like the flashlights made by this company.

Excellent simple mini tactical light
Pros:* simple 3-mode UI* Focused beam with amazing throw for such a small narrow flashlight* good priceCons:* I'd prefer a 2-way clip* Some knurling at the bottom of the head and tailcap would be nice.
