Compressed logs for log Burner
Very high energy, excellent product gives out a lot of heat worth the money, burns to Ash. Burns for along time and gives out the warmth you would expect.

Very economical with very little mess
These logs are perfect for a small log burner They burn easily and provide a very high temperature in a short time. Two logs leave the burner very hot and heat lasts two/three hours to warm the room

Burns easily
Good fuel. Didn't last as long as I wished but ok for the price.

Burn hot!
These were grand - they burned hot! They were a solid part of my routine for lighting a fire - one briquette broken in half on top of a little scaffolding of kindling - perfectly lit fire every time. I never really used these as a long-term fire source - I'd use one (as mentioned above) for starting the fire, topped up with another one to prep for coal - to get the temp up and get a nice bed of embers. One of these would easily get me up to 200C+ and on bottom vent nearly shut, top vent half-ish open, it'd last around 30ish mins. I reckon if you closed your top vent more, it'd last longer but I liked to keep the glass relatively clean. I found it easier to put these in broken in half as they are quite long - some batches were easy to break with bare hands, with others, I had to whack it against something or sort of try to bend it over my knee until it broke. They were a bit dusty mind you BUT I definitely preferred these to actual logs. No need for an axe :)

Not efficient
I don’t think we are doing anything wrong, but these do not burn longer than wood, they are not hotter, and any attempt to extend the life during burning just ends up with loads on black smoke. We will be sticking to wood, which is cheaper and more efficient.
