This stuff is ingenious. It' s one of those things that I didn't realise that I would use so much until I had some to try.Most velcro systems have hooks or loops on one surface of a tape and are plain on the other surface and that makes attaching the tape in a loop awkward as you need to use the two different types of tape. This tape has a mix of hooks and loops on the one surface and so will attach to itself.In order to make a loop system you thread one end of a length of tape through a buckle, double it back on itself and press it together and then thread the other end of the tape though the other side of the same buckle, pull tight on the bundle that you are securing and then press the free end of the tape onto itself like you did on the other end. The result, provided you use sufficient overlap of tape, is a very strong loop fixing.Five metres of tape and 25 buckles for £3.59 is a good price for the security and flexibility of being able to cut just what you need from the roll to produce a very secure fixing.
