Bumbo in Pink
What can we say, brilliant! The Wife was scepticle but I have a friend who had already told me the one he had for his Daughter was fantastic and he wasnt wrong! We were feeding our Daughter in the bounbcy chair and have now reverted to the Bumbo. She just loves itThe one thing is our daughter tends to kick back when she is in it so we always have her with something behind her head(Cushion)I read some reviews before I bought it and there were mentions of it not being sturdy (at height as I recall?) but certainly on our carpetted floor, it very sturdy indeed!Would highly recommend it

Best Item I bought
I thoroughly recommend the Bumbo. It was by far one of the best items of baby kit that I bought. My daughter held her head up from birth and was never a lying down kind of baby, she always wanted to be upright, so when she was big enough I bought a Bumbo. From day 1 she loved it, she would sit in it while we had dinner and even for that 5 minute break for a cup of tea she was quite happy to go into her seat with a toy or book. This little rubber seat is a life saver, especially if you have a child who likes to be straighter and doesn't particularly like the reclined postion of swing chairs. We used the Bumbo until she learnt how to escape from it. It was also great for when we started weaning, I could sit down on the floor beside her and supervise her eating, she loved to sit in her seat and try finger foods. All round very useful and I certainly got my money's worth

Very useful but short lived bit of kit
As others have pointed out, this is very useful when your baby is too big/heavy to hold when feeding, but not big enough to sensibly put in a high chair. With the tray, it's also useful for a play seat, although our experience was that the baby can pull the tray off it's stand portion pretty easily leaving some relatively sharp edged pieces right where baby's arms can hit them. Not ideal. Toppling out could also be an issue in this, although one we've not had, possibly as we physically prevented it rather than it not being an issue. Leg hole bits can also be a bit narrow for chubby little thighs, but rather that than the other way I suppose. Also, I can't see how the average baby would be able to get use from this from 4 to 14 months as stated - that's pushing it a bit in my opinion. You'll get some use out of it, and the use you get will be valuable, but it's definitely a more short lived thing I'd say, so you have to weigh up whether you think that the cost (which is a lot really considering what it is) is worth it.I think overall we're glad we had it and would probably get one again knowing what we know now.

Love it!
My daughter is 4 months old and loves sitting up although she can't do this on her own yet. This meant I was forever holding her so she could play and look around at what was going on in the room. The Bumbo was a life saver. She can have a bit more independence and I can have my arms back to get on with other things while she is playing. She is safe in it and cannot push herself out or tip herself over. It is so lightweight that it is a very handy seat to throw into the car to take to friends and relatives. It saves her having to be held all day which ends up annoying her as she likes to be able to sit and play on her own for a while. I would recommend getting the tray to go with it though. I didnt and my daughter kept dropping her toys and getting frustrated. I ended up buying the tray seperately and she will now sit in it contently for much longer.

Hmmmmm
I bought this for my 3 month old daughter as she was fed up sitting/lying in her bouncer chair. She could hold her head up and I thought this looked a comfy alternative. She really enjoyed being so close to us when we used it at mealtimes on the table (always supervised and well within arms reach!) but recently (she's now 4.5 months) she's been trying to lean to reach things on the table or floor and when she gets cross she can make herself rigid and sit up almost out of it! I would probably still recommend it to a friend, but it's not for the most active of babies!

One of the best baby product I have ever bought.
This is one of the best baby product I have ever bought. It really works and helps children that can't seat yet to seat up straight.I find it also much safer than high chairs, especially for very little babies.I use it daily for my 4 and now 5 month old daughter during feeds.I'm using purchased separately Bumbo Play Tray that can be a little bit tricky to attach on the beginning but after first couple of times you will be able to connect it withing 1 second. You may need to put the seat on the edge of the table or stool to attach it easier. My Bumbo came in pink colour but it is not so bright like on the picture, the colour is actually very light, pastel pink.

Waste of money not to mention dangerous
This aswell as the tray were a complete waste of money. My daughter never looked comfortable in this at all. She has always been small for her age so maybe that is the reason why. By the time she could sit in this comfortably she was already sitting up by herself at 5/6 months. We ended up selling them both on at a fraction of the price, and i certainly wont be buying anything like this if we have any more children. In my opinion its really not needed at all, just another gadget to gather dust. Not to mention the reports of babies tipping over in them and damaging their skulls just says it all really. AVOID!!!!

Great Product - Helps get baby engaged
My baby was bored lying on her back - looking at dangling toys. Now she's sat up, either on a chair next to us, or on the dining table, engaged and looking all around. So far, after a month, she's not wriggled out of it and is quite happy in there for a good while. The tray 'may' have been a good option, but I've found putting Bumbo on a chair next to me and sliding that up to a table is good and also helps her get used to sitting at the table with Mummy and Daddy.I'd definately recommend a Bumbo.
