Stockbull BEEF HIDE 20CM - DOG TREAT – NATURAL DRIED - DOG TREAT PACK OF 10, 25 & 50 (X50 HIDES)

Fantastic product, keeps my dog happy, yes they can smell a bit, but they help greatly with keeping your dog busy. Always well packaged.

These don't have the Stockbull branding or the same packaging. They aren't quite like the Stockbull product I've bought before, there's too many that have horrible soft white stuff, rather than being hard and dried out as you'd expect. I wouldn't buy again. There's also quite a few that have a weird white speckling and so won't be feeding them.

Great value although size of treat varies. Our dog just loves them - the bigger the better!

The last 2 batches have been infested with carpet beetle. Gave the benefit of the doubt with the first batch and threw away, and the second batch seemed fine until a few weeks in when we saw a beetle crawling along the kitchen floor. On closer inspection of the packet of beef hides, they were riddled with hundreds of carpet beetles. Contacted seller who said that we’d had the item for 6 weeks so the beetles could have come from our home. It horrified me that they would even suggest we would have a riddled home - how would all stages of carpet beetle have set up home and created chrysalis’/hatched during a 6 week period in our home, yet not be anywhere else. I provided detailed photos clearly showing chrysalis, and beetles which had hatched and nestled all over the hides however this was insufficient evidence that we didn’t cause the infestation ourselves. They asked me to return the item however given the infestation I had placed them immediately in the bin and they’d since been collected by the bin men. Will not be buying again, which is a shame because my dog loves the product. However, having had to throw away more than 50% of the last two batches was not proving cost effective.

Actual content is very good

I’ve bought Stockbull hides a lot, my dogs love them. But the last 2 big bags were very thick and now my dogs have been sick several times, each time bringing up a chunk of the hide like the one in these photos. I think it’s gristle but it’s definitely dangerous and indigestible. Would cause a real problem if stuck in their gut. I’ve thrown all of the chews away, would have returned them but I’d put them in the chew store and thrown the bags away. BEWARE, they are definitely a dangerous risk to your dogs. I will search for another supplier.

Over priced - arrogant attitude from the seller - all together dissatisfied
