First let me say that my kittens have made it a habit to scratch everything they can! I can’t afford to just go replace all my furniture so needed something to help. I tried the other products here and they left holes in my furniture and are way more expensive. I told myself why not give this product a try and I’m so glad I did! The other people here that have left comments about it not sticking are not making sense. First off, I would recommend to check carefully where you are sticking it to so that you won’t have to peel off and reinstall. It’s common sense that if you do this of course it would lose its stickiness. The material is flexible yet strong. A big plus was that I was able to cut into smaller pieces and place in other places. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase. Thank you for charging a very fair price for a great product!

I gave it five stars because it attaches easily, removes and reattaches easily, and keeps the cat from scratching where it is. The trouble is that it doesn't, and can't protect enough area. Look at the product picture--my cat simply reaches up and scratches the rounded top of the arm. Combined with some anti-scratch tape, it gets the job done. It helps to give the cat a nearby scratching post so it has an easy alternative.

It might work. But save yourself some money and buy a roll of clear packing tape instead. Use 2 layers for the same effect. This is just slightly thicker than packing tape. Also, pulls the finish off wood. Test a small spot first in a place that doesn't matter.

This is a product that really works as promised. I've had several of these protectors on my furniture for years and they remain in place and completely discourage scratching. I've tried the "press on" variety and they simply wouldn't stay on the furniture; these, once pinned in place, stay there. And, they are practically invisible on the furniture.

These stuck to my leather couch nicely, do NOT pull off accidentally, but will easily move it you need to reposition. They haven't done any damage, and totally deterred my older cat from scratching my couch completely! Only problem is my kitten sees his reflection in them, and attacks himself, which has still not brought them down. You can barely see them, and I'm happy with my purchase.

I had previously purchased similar ones that didn't attach well to the fabric, so I honestly though these were not going to adhere either. However, I WAS WRONG... these are perfect. I purchased a lot so I could cover all of the sides and bottom front panels. It is safe to say that the cat hasn't scratched a thing. They have adhered perfectly to the fabric without damaging it & I did not have to put pins in order to help them stay put. I will definitely be purchasing more for any future fabric furniture I purchase.

My cat has taken to clawing at the couch and at the carpet under my bedroom door now that I no longer let him sleep in my room (training for expecting a baby this year), and this has worked as a serious deterrent, as well as preventing further damage. Nicely sticky, doesn’t move or peel up around the edges. When he does scratch it’s quiet and thick, he can’t get through to the carpet. 10/10; it may be too late for my security deposit but if my next apartment is carpet I’m putting these things down right away!

I bought these 6 months ago and loved them, great size and have worked really well. So I went to buy more and they are like half the size! Not to mention the other ones had rounded edges and these look like they we cut from a big square. Will likely use them because I need them but am thoroughly disappointed and will not be purchasing again!Picture: the clear one in the back is what I got the first time and the white square is them now!
