Are these suitable for water based satinwood?

I haven't used these rollers with this type of paint so can't say one way or the other. The issue with water based paints and rollers is that a bubbling or orange peel finish can occur, in which case you can lightly brush these bumps/bubbles out immediately after rollering. I think this is called "laying-off", but I stand to be corrected on this. I've used this technique for water based gloss (different rollers) and it's still quicker than brushing alone, and provides a better consistency of application.

Yes - no problem. Emulsion paint is water based, the product will work well and better still an easy clean up & potential re-use. Thanks Cottam

No these are for gloss only.  The details below contain info about COTTAM rollers but only two roller sleeves for emulsion included.  They don't appear to do a bigger set for emulsion.
