Perfect for the elderly blind
I bought this for my elderly blind father. I attached a lanyard to it so he can wear it around his neck. I also taped the "set the time" buttons on the back so he would not push them by mistake. He absolutely loves it.

Great - Keep the manual handy.
Love this. Works great for my blind (no light perception) uncle.The only thing that is a bit confusing is that when I set the time, it will then allow me to set the alarm. But, the action is setting the time of the alarm, not turning the alarm on.Keep the manual so that you understand how to actually turn the alarm on/off, and turn on/off the hourly announcing of the time.
