Fiberfix 2 Inch Repair Wrap

Very prompt...Good product too.

The product is waste of your time and money. I have seen advertisements about this product where they apply it on broken material with such an ease. But in reality what I got was a hardened, already set roll of fiberfix which refuse to fix my favourite headphone. Yes it has the strength of steel maybe more that's why I had a hard time unrolling the useless tape which is already hardened inside the package. I had use water and everything according to the instructions but no hope... Such a waste of time and money

It is an Excellent product. Have used it before and it always delivers.Beware of the fact that the tape can not be used if it was in contact with air prior to delivery. The packaging is crucial. The tapes come in air tight pouches. If exposed to the elements the tape starts curing and if u receive any tape which has autocured due to horrible handling from the warehouse the tape will be really hard to unroll. Which means the tape has cured and is no longer usable. Return that product if it was already exposed to the elements and not airtight. Besides that it's an excellent product.

It is very difficult to unroll and when you do, it doesn’t soak in water as mentioned or showed in tutorials on YouTube. Not sure if I received the product in the right condition in the first place.

Permanently repair anything that can be 'duct taped.' Meaning if you could wrap it with tape and make a temporary fix, use this once and 'fix it for good' as my grandpa would say. It's basically a fabric 'wrap' that's impregnated with water-activated fiberglass resin. It's packaged with full instructions and even a pair of gloves because it is messy, trust me, you don't want to get it on your skin and be sure to wear your old 'painting clothes' too as grandma used to say just in case. It's black, it's sticky and it's not coming out of your clothes.Open the package, soak the wrap in room temperature water (approximately 70-degrees) for 12-15 seconds to activate then WRAP tightly and be sure to overlap until you have several layers (like you would duct tape). Allow to cure. Sets up hard as a rock in under 30 minutes.I used two "large" packs to fix a plastic hose reel, the entire reel spindle (the part the hose wraps around) for whatever reason cracked and split in half over the winter. Not exaggerating, I had 2 separate pieces. It's about 6 inches in diameter so I needed 2 packs to get the 4-5 layers needed for strength. I wasn't sure if it just looked like a good repair or if it really was one that would last, I can now say the 150 ft of 3/4" landscape hose (it's heavy if you don't know) is being fully supported by a reel that once lost all structural integrity. This repair is going on 2 months now and holding as strong as ever. I've also used it for fixing leaks in pool pressure-side pipes that I was told were 'unfixable' that would have to be cut out and replaced. Not a drip in 5 years, I'd say with this the unfixable becomes fixable.Great stuff, used to be in big box stores. I just wish it were a little easier to locate, thankful that Amazon came through for me once again.

la use para reparar unos audífonos y me funciono muy bien. Claro que estéticamente no tanto por la naturaleza del producto pero funcionalmente muy bien

Me recomendaron el producto, llego en el tiempo mencionado.La aplicación es sencilla, seca rápido, da una resistencia mecánica excelente.Muy recomendable, para el fin que lo utilice lo volveré a adquirir.
