An excellent laptop and a very affordable price. Very responsive even when processing Windows updates. It's hard to find laptops with 16 GB of memory, especially when paired with a i5 processor. The 512 GB SSD hard drive is adequate for most users, and the overall speed is very fast. Lenovo laptops are very reliable and well-made and this one came factory sealed and ready to go! The seller was very responsive and is very reliable.

Recently purchased the 14" version of this laptop. I'm getting well over eight hours of usage on the battery (likely closer to ten) out of this laptop (one must tweak settings!) and it's doing exactly what I want and need out of it. Bought it for a few reasons. First was to seamlessly connect to a SonicWall VPN appliance. My MB Pro was fine, but couldn't get the tunnel to split and due to the project I'm on, I suppose I really wanted a Win to Win (Server) experience "out of the box". This laptop has provided exactly what I've needed. Windows 11 home, the "easy" Microsoft setup . Badda-bing-badda-boom: NMap, Visual Studio Code, VirtualBox, O365, Python, Brave, etc...all of the tools I need, good to go. No bloatware, the only thing that comes to mind is only McAfee (God rest "his" soul) AV. I'm going to use it for the period I'm allocated. Vantage Widget and Lenovo Vantage are actually pretty helpful but may be considered bloatware by some. I'm not concerned about the sound quality or gaming capabilities as I'm using this as a "productive" machine to accomplish tasks in my current role. Cheap design? It's not as a structurally sound as my MB Pro M4, but it's super light and again, "works" for what I need. I own a USB-C Ethernet adaptor, which I haven't need to use except to test that it does work just fine. I've bounced around on four different Wireless networks with no issues. Backlit keyboard is nice and can be shutoff/on with a quick easy "Function-Spacebar" combo. Fingerprint sensor works great. At any rate, I'm glad I purchased this laptop as it's meeting all of my needs and expectations at this price point.

Just received this to replace an older laptop which is starting to get wonky. I use it to surf the internet, social media, basic documents and watch videos. I am not a gamer. I do not like touch screen laptops so if you require one, this is not the laptop. However, I do like a backlit keyboard and this one has it. It is not as bright as the keys on the laptop I just replaced (Acer) but it will do. My other one went on as soon as I started typing, on the Lenovo, the lights stay on all the time. It is a smaller footprint than my other one (hence "slim" in the version) and it is fast and responds well. I do not use the fingerprint sensor but it has one which is pretty cool. I think it has some AI features as well. So far, so good. If you need a solid, basic laptop with some bells and whistles, this is a great choice.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i - fast Intel i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD performs perfectly — lightweight, fast, and the display is crisp. But the unit I received was not new at all. Scratches, prior settings, and clear signs of previous use. I am disappointed that a “new” laptop was shipped in this condition.
