Climbing Sticks
The media could not be loaded. It was to my satisfaction that they did not add an excessive amount of weight to my bag. Because I hunt in a variety of environments, it is essential for me to have hunting gear that is not only lightweight but also simple to travel. The four-pack set was packaged in a nice manner and included all of the straps that were required to successfully attach them to the tree. The process of putting them together was not too complicated, and I was able to fasten them to a tree in a single go. The straps had a solid feel to them, and they wrapped around the tree in a tight manner, which gave me the assurance that they would not slide or shift once I began ascending. The fact that the stairs are non-slipping is a significant advantage. I wore them in dry situations as well as in conditions that were somewhat damp, and I never had the impression that my boots were sliding. It is especially crucial to keep this in mind when you are in a hurry or when the lighting is poor and you do not want to be concerned about losing your footing for any reason. As soon as I started climbing, I became aware that the sticks provided a dependable support system. The stairs did not wobble or bow beneath my weight, and they gave the impression of being robust. If you feel that the climbing stick you are using is unstable, it may completely destroy your confidence and make the climb much more stressful. I believe that this is one of the most crucial components of any climbing stick. That was not a problem for me with this particular set. The fact that each step is sufficiently broad to accommodate my whole boot made climbing much simpler, particularly while I was wearing bigger, more insulated boots despite the fact that the temperature was cooler.Nevertheless, I did get the impression that the distance between each step was a little bit more than what I am used to. Despite the fact that it wasn't a deal-breaker, I had to stretch a little bit more than I would have liked in between each step. In the event that you are shorter or have a shorter stride, this is something that you should take into consideration. At my height of 5 feet 11 inches, I was able to do it, but if the step spacing was a little bit closer together, the climb would be more pleasant and need less work. The fact that I was able to use them for many hunts enables me to declare that transporting them into and out of the forest was not a difficult task. I was able to put them in my bag without any discomfort because of their small shape and the fact that they stacked nicely together. Having said that, I did see that the straps, despite their effectiveness, might be a little bit more long-lasting. The straps began to exhibit signs of wear over the course of time, and I am afraid that as a result of lengthy usage, they may potentially need replacement. In the event that you go hunting as often as I do, you could want to keep an eye on the straps to make sure that they continue to be firm and dependable.Despite being used in rugged terrain and against a variety of trees, the sticks have not shown any symptoms of bending or damage. The aluminum construction gives the sticks a sturdy feel, and they have continued to function without any problems. I have faith that they will be able to withstand the test of time, especially if they are used often during the season.

Sturdy steps with a few wobbles
The media could not be loaded. Just checked out these aluminum climbing steps and they've got some interesting features. The V-shaped bracket design looks pretty clever, seems like it would grip well. Those raised ends on each step are a nice touch, could help with traction. The straps feel sturdy, appear to be good quality. That sliding lock clip for storage is handy, makes them easy to pack up and carry. The aluminum construction is impressively light, didn't weigh down my gear bag much. Now for the slightly less stable bits - while they're lightweight, they might flex a bit under heavier loads. The steps aren't very wide, could be tricky for folks with bigger feet. Assembly was straightforward but took longer than expected. They're great for their intended purpose but might not be versatile enough for other uses. If you're in the market for this type of equipment, these steps could be worth considering. They seem well-designed for their specific use, even if they're not the most multi-functional tools out there. Great for those who need portable, lightweight steps. While they might not replace more permanent setups, they certainly seem like they could be useful in the right situations. These aluminum assistants have some solid features, but as with any climbing equipment, proper use and safety should always be the top priority.

Great price but super heavy
The price is great but they are incredibly heavy and cumbersome. They are really quiet when stacked together and locked in. I don't like the buckle strap securing system, I'd prefer the Amsteel line instead. They do hold really well against the tree when they bite in. I've used them on smooth bark and some rough bark.

Lightweight sticks with some small improvements needed
Overall, I like these sticks. I have never used aluminum sticks before, but I also hang stands and leave them for the season. So, steel sticks are not a huge deal for me. Sure, they are a little heavy to carry in, but not worth spending money on aluminum sticks for every stand and retiring them before they are worn out. However, I wanted to start taking the bottom stick from my stand when I leave so that nobody can use my stand easily. I had problems with someone else using it without even asking, so I wanted to deter that. Having an aluminum stick that is somewhat compact and light to carry would be essential if I was going to carry it in and out. This really fits the bill from that perspective. They aren't the tallest sticks. I'm used to steel sticks that have three steps and are at least 30" tall. These are actually better if you are wanting something to use for a mobile setup because the shorter height makes them easier to carry. However, you have to be prepared to hang a stand lower than you otherwise might with only 4 sticks of this height.Overall, the construction seems very good. The straps seem like they are quality made. I would like the steps to be slightly wider so that I feel more secure with insulated boots while climbing. Next time, I'll look for ones that are slightly wider. Also, another reviewer mentioned the plastic clips that hold them together sliding. These could use improvement. They don't click into place or secure it anyway, so you need to make sure you carry them with the proper side facing down. I would like to see a way that these lock into place so you don't accidentally lose a stick while carrying it. Or you don't have the clip slide and make noise while carrying a single stick. The aluminum construction is so much lighter than what I'm used to, so I'm very happy about how light they are.Overall, these are good little sticks. They have some limitations, but they are very usable and functional for someone needing lightweight and compact sticks.

Great!!!!!
It works great I am using it to one stick!. Light weight, strong, and stable! First time I tried one sticking it took me 2 minutes and I got up 12 feet. I could as high as I wanted with ease! Can not recommend it enough.
