As a new explorer into the world of matcha, I found this kit to be perfect. It includes all the components I need to brew & drink matcha. The quality of each component seems to be very good. The aesthetics of each piece, and with all pieces taken together as a set, are great and provide me with the experience I'm after. Yes, you can piecemeal each component in the set, but you'll have to spend more time comparison shopping, and you can easily end up paying more.At first, I thought this would be my starter kit. After having used it for a few weeks, I don't see any reason to upgrade from this kit whatsoever. My suggestion is to use your $ for good matcha, and spend only as necessary for the matcha ware. I'm completely satisfied with this matcha set. Thank you.

No Return Policy.Our family had a deal for Christmas that nothing we give was going to be made in China. We asked where it was made and we were told that this was made in Japan. However on arrival this is actually made in China and since their return policy is non existent, we are stuck with a made in China product even after asking where it was made from.

Very happy with this tea set. Everything came well packaged and in great condition. I love the color of the bowl as well as the cloth. I would happily recommend this tea set for actual use or just as decoration as I use it for both. The costomer service by the seller is also very attentive and refreshing. 100% would buy again

It's convenient to have all the essentials for making matcha all together in a set but the most important piece of such sets is the bowl itself. A balance of utility and art form. I was disappointed to find that the tea bowl that came with this set has a distinguishing bump where it isn't even glazed (see picture). It's the first thing I noticed unboxing it so I'm surprised whomever boxing the items didn't catch it (quality control is just not there). With such a flaw, I'm going to have to buy another bowl.

I am very happy with all the items in this set. This is the one you want if you are looking to spend under $60. Purple bamboo Chasen (whisk) and Chashaku (scoop). Lovely blue ceramic whisk holder that though blue-colored, has an almost celadon-look glaze. The humble black tea bowl has a single white flower. Very nice little tea cloth and mat. The big selling point for me was the packaging. I knew this bowl had the best chance arrived unbroken. See photos.

I thought I would get a simple tea set. What I received was a carefully/and beautifully packed tea set.I wish I would have taken pictures of the packaging... but instead, I'm including pictures on the set instead. yes, I already used it :-)Enjoy!

This set is very pleasing and looks nice on my kitchen counter. I use it often and the quality is nice. It had no splintering of the wood items which can be a big concern.

I've had this product for about 5 months now and so far everything has held up pretty well. Initially, I only needed the bamboo whisk, but couldn't stop myself from buying this kit. Now, i have my very own Matcha section of our kitchen counter! I highly recommend!

This was such a good buy! For the price i paid, i loved that it came complete with everything displayed! I use my matcha set almost everyday and even offer it to guests and family! I recommend it!

Beautiful set that has performed really well for myself so far. There is some minor splintering but thats to be expected in a cafe setting

Great set! I have been using it for months now and I'm very happy. Has everything you need to start. Nothing has broken after months of use, and build quality is good. I'm not a matcha fanatic, but I do drink matcha 5 times a week and I enjoy using this set. I like the small towel. Cleans up all the splashing.
