I saw several mixed reviews, but as we all know a products sub-options are all shown under the same review score here on Amazon, which makes it confusing. A lot of people bashed the whey concentrate option, which is understandable as it's a lot less viable protein per gram and has much more filler, which typically does not mix well and creates a chunky consistency. This review is specific to the 10lb Creamy Chocolate Isolate - I read some feedback that deducted points for taste. This was almost my reasoning for not purchasing. I am glad that I did not listen - the taste is fantastic. Does not taste like chemicals or additives, I would best describe it as a slightly dulled chocolate taste that is not whatsoever overbearing. Mixed perfectly in even half the liquid serving size of 8 oz (4 oz total). I would say this is VERY comparable to ISO100 in taste and quality. Extremely happy with my purchase and will be buying this again in the future.

I'm a big fan of the approach that NOW takes with its vitamins and supplimentz, and after looking around, I decided to give their protein a try. As far as macros are concerned, each scoop is almost as close to pure protein as it's possible to get. A scoop is 33g and contains 25g of protein. Certain articles have also listed NOW protein isolate as the highest quality protien, which I truly believe after trying it.However, there is a singular issue I have with this protien. Its flavor. When mixed, the powder tastes like unflavored protien. With coco powder added, which gives it a bitter, slightly bland chocolate flavor. With such a high protien ratio, it's hard to escape the lack of sweetener, so there isn't much room to improve.That being said, I have heard that the vanilla and cookies and cream flavors taste far better, so I will be sticking to NOW, but definitely switching flavors.

Makes meeting your protein needs is easy! Every serving delivers 25g of protein. I appreciate how Now avoids artificial sweeteners. I would describe the chocolate taste as passable. You're not going to mistake it for chocolate milk, but neither will you gag when you drink it. Mixes very well; no clumping. I would highly recommend, whether you want a meal replacement, post-workout protein, or any other time you want quality protein at an affordable price.

Bad taste, bad reviews my only fault was reading the reviews after purchasing it and when I instantly tried to cancel order before shipping it didn’t and I even can’t return it after delivery its a total loss for me and scammed by them basically, the taste is yukkk

Light chocolate taste and mixes well.

For me it is 0 stars, I can’t digest it. It gave me nauseas, inflammation, headaches, gases … everything. I tried it for a whole month expecting I could adapt but not. I went back to my old one Levels, and everything is fine now.However it truly depends on the person because my husband take it every day and he has no problem at all with it. (3 stars because of him)So if you have sensitive stomach or other digestive issues, don’t buy it. Otherwise it’s ok

Its hard to find good protein without added sugar, sucralose, or other unnecessary fillers. Xylitol at least has some health benefits and doesn't promote cavities. Additionally a lot of the cheap protein powders are high in heavy metals. NOW Foods is a reputable brand and this protein is a great value in bulk. It has a mild chocolate flavor without being too strong. I can drink it straight with water without having to add anything else. Keep in mind this size will last a long time unless you are drinking it every day to support strength training or other goals.

I absolutely recommend this product. However, one thing I'd like to see from NOW is an option without sucralose for those who prioritize quality over taste because sucralose can affect "gut microbiota." For those who enjoy different flavors, they can continue to enjoy the current options like chocolate and vanilla. But I want plain without SUCRALOSE. If then, it would be perfect for me!
