Anything that helps keep the laptop up and off the legs while in the car is a bonus for the cooling solution inside the laptop. Also being able to see that screen at a reasonable eye level without tipping the screen level way out doesn't hurt either.**Product description:It would be fair to almost call this a laptop carrying case with extra features. I got the large size case and it easily fits my 16 inch Lenovo laptop with some room to spare. It has various pockets on one side for pens, small devices, calculators, notepads, or thin books. The left side has a stretchy pocket for a drink bottle. Great for using as a food tray but not so much while using it for a laptop.There are adjustable straps on the sides for how angled the deck will be when fully opened. There is a zippered pocket on the outside for extra storage. The whole canvas case closes shut with a double zipper and Velco closure strap for the handles.**Assembly Requirements:No assembly required. Leaves little wiggle room even with seat fully back.**Does it work as described: Yes, it holds a laptop very well.**Learning curve to use: None.**Ease of use: Very easy.**Easy to assemble: No assembly necessary.This is a good solution for keep a hot laptop off of the legs while working in the car or for anyone using a laptop in the backseat on car trips. It definitely has excellent fast food applications for the on-the-go people. I found it to be very stable while using in the front while hooked onto the steering wheel. Hanging from the headrest in the backseat may have some rocking issues while the vehicle is moving. It is a bit of a tight fit for front seat use but is still very useable. Since it does like it's supposed to and I should probably lose some weight in the mid section, I'll say that it's still a solid 5 stars product.

I work out of a truck and use a laptop daily, I needed something besides my console to work from. I’ve tried the plastic steering wheel desks in the past and was not impressed. I decided to give this one a shot and I’m very happy with it. I has enough room for my 15” laptop, easily slides over the steering wheel (2019 Ford F250), and extends to a good angle. I do wish the adjustment straps were just a little bit longer but it’s not that big of a deal. The bottom does have some flex as others have mentioned, but it’s a non issue for laptop work. I also like that I can flip it up and hold it closed quickly by partially closing one side of the zipper. Super convenient when you have to get in and out of the truck a lot. I am very pleased with its performs for the money.
