Review on Police force simulator
I chose 5 stars as it is a very good and fun game personally. I would reccomend this to people 10 years and over due to the violence. I like that it is quite realistic however it would be good if it showed you the area you are supposed to go to exactly on the map but otherwise it is really good.

Not Perfect but Fun
In my first review I gave this simulation, entitled 'Police Force' 1 star out of 5 as it would not start on Windows XP or Vista and my emails bounced from the support website.I am now increasing that to 3 out of 5 stars as support did finally get in touch with me. The sim is now working on my Windows Vista Quad Core after Excalibur support directed me to download a newer version of visual C++ redistributable (the 2010 version) from the Microsoft website.Having now played the game I can say that it is a little quirky. In saying that I mean that,for example ambulances do impossibly sharp turns and the recovery truck simply drags damaged cars through other vehicles and in one mission I played the recovery truck drove into a lampost then kept on going.The map system seems to take a long time to update - red icons indicating suspects only show up after a couple of minutes by which time you can have driven literally right around your patrol area.Also, as another reviewer on here has mentioned - the female cop only carries CS Spray compared to her male colleague who gets a gun. Maybe that is the way things are in the German Police Force that this simulation is based on - I don't know but I'm sure it wouldn't be the same if this game was based on a UK Force.On the other hand, the game does have plenty of action with emergency calls cropping up frequently. There is variety in the missions including some undercover work in plain clothes and if you quit a shift and then start playing again you receive a different mission.This game isn't Driver or GTA but, it is quite interesting to play. I am giving Police Force 3 out of 5 stars because it does not have options that are considered standard in most games these days such as redefinable keys. The map system is in need of some work - perhaps the addition of grid references and certainly some information about where incidents have taken place which I imagine is generally given in Police messages in the real world and would help gameplay massively.I would consider playing a Police Force 2 but, only if improvements are made.

Boring very quickly
This game is fun for about half a day. Then gets very boring. Would avoid this, much better out there.
