Stop Cramps!
I make raw dog food and have for years but apparently one of our dogs needed more minerals in her old age. She was having cramps in her shoulder and I recognized it immediately from having periodic cramps myself. I dosed her with human magnesium and potassium and they stopped within an hour so I searched for something just for dogs to make sure it doesn't happen again. I bought this and have been adding it to the raw food and she hasn't had 1 cramp since. This is excellent!

A Must if you are Feeding Homemade Diet
After years of trying a multitude of different dog foods, including prescription canned food from the vet (as everything seemed to give her a stomach ache), I resorted to homemade and never looked back. My 5 pound Papillon, Peanut, has been on homemade now for over 7 years and is 12 now, and very healthy. I follow the kidney diet by Dr. Jean Dodds, adding in a bit of salmon oil and this mineral supplement, following strictly the daily amount guideline printed on label based on her weight. No problem with her eating it mixed in food and she is super healthy, and stools are always firm. Great product!!

Excellent product for adding to homemade food
Adding vitamins and minerals is a must for a total homemade pet food diet, and this brand was recommended by our Vet. Since cooking for our dog for the past 3 years and adding Canine Minerals to his daily servings, He is at a healthy weight, no longer has allergies (has stopped gnawing at his feet) or ear infections, has a healthy shiny coat and is chock full of energy. One jar lasts a long time!

Sticks and dirt clod reduction
I got these to try on my Dorkiepoo named Alf who Is a year old this month. He likes to bring in sticks and dirt clods like they are a treat. After his being on these for almost a month now it seems to have cut down on the number of sticks and dirt clods he is bring into the house.

Great for peace of mind
I added this to my dogs meals. My dogs don’t seem to mind it in their wet food and I did notice some digestive improvements on my senior dogs. My dogs overall health is usually great, but this product gives me the peace of mind that they’re getting additional vitamins and nutrients.

My Dog Likes the Taste
My dog is on a low-purine diet, and wouldn't eat the packaged ready-made low purine kibble, so I started making homemade, low-purine dogfood. The canine nutritionist which my Vet sent me to gave me a recipe, but said to add Balance IT to her food. She wouldn't eat it, and so I tasted the Balance IT. Not only was it bitter, but it made me very sick! I had a migraine that lasted 24 hours. Then a friend told me about these canine supplements. I contacted Dr. Judy Morgan and she emailed me a low-purine diet (for free!) and that included this canine mineral mix, also another vitamin mix and a couple of other supplements.I dissolve this (and other supplements) everyday in A2 milk and add it to her scrambled egg, egg-white and vegetable dinner. She's very healthy and she loves the taste of this. So I recommend it enthusiastically.

Good product, but use under a vet's supervision
For a variety of reasons, my dogs are on a raw diet. I work with a vet to ensure that they are getting what they need in their food, particularly one with neurological issues, and she recommended this product. I mix it in with their food in the morning, and they tolerate it very well - they don't mind the taste and there are no bad bowel-related side effects. The product description on Amazon provides virtually no information, and neither does the manufacturer's website. So, from the bottle:Precaution: Please consult a veterinary nutritionist for use in large breed puppies.Ingredients: Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Sodium, Strontium, Manganese, Phosphorus, Potassium, ChromiumGuaranteed analysis per one scoop (1/2 tsp.): Calcium (500 mg), Magnesium (322 mg), Iron (0.77 mg), Strontium (0.27 mg), Sodium (0.20), Manganese (0.08 mg), Phosphorus (0.07 mg), Potassium 90.04 mcg), Chromium (0.6 mcg).Caveat of my own: if your dog has kidney problems or is on a diuretic, especially a potassium-sparing one, you definitely should consult your vet so that its blood levels are monitored. The company does list a website on the bottle: rxvitamins.com.
