Not only do we make sure we have these on all our vehicles we buy extra for people who come to visit frequently. We live in the countryside and deer are FREQUENT! I have seen a deer begin to approach the roadway and as we near the area they turn around. Some may say is a coincidence but I've seen this scenario far too often to believe that. The adhesion isn't all that great, so we usually do a small dab of gorilla glue in addition to the included adhesion, make sure you don't drive the vehicle for a bit to allow it to dry and complete its bonding, then no problems! We lost a few before we figured out this way too simple trick we should have thought of long ago.. we had a duhhh moment what can i say? These are sturdy and well made. Some people like to put them on the top of their car, some on the front bumper.. i don't know that either works better, just as long as they are on the front of your vehicle. Also, we do bring our dogs with us on car rides a lot and they dont seem to bother them at all...

This year wildlife (fox and deer) seen near roadway at night...I want to do my part to help warn them of potential danger from my vehicle. I had some extra "Alien Tape " sitting around and added to the base of the device..To remove prior to car wash, you easily slide the small horns off base secured to frame, add back in when done(They stayed put after an automatic car wash). No issues, on all my vehicles.

First noticed cats would run away from road when car approached, with ears perked up after looking my direction.Next encounter was when a huge doe came down gravel lane towards highway at 4am. Doe stopped at edge of road, ears straight up, looked right at car, turned and ran away from road. No encounter with dogs or coyotes yet.So far these seemed to have prevented at least one deer/car encounter.

both whistles fell off my car in a matter of days, the sticky part was not sticking at all, it was a waste of my money and I live in the country where they are nothing but deer, so I would not buy this again, I would rather just buy a bike horn and use that to scare the deer away from car

One of the whistles will NOT stay on the adhesive for some reason but I found my own solution and am happy overall.

Product adhered easily to front of car. I have used deer alerts for many years. I hope they stay on after going thru touchless car wash. Product came next day.

After going through several other sets, I was thrilled to find this two set deal. In our rural Maine area, driving a quiet hybrid, it’s good to have both sets installed on the front of my car to avoid “surprise meetings” with deer crossing the road just around one of many curves in local roads.

Not sure why I fully expected these to last a while but they didn't last longer than a year, clearly blew off at some point. Also not really sure if they work, seemed as though wildlife had the same reaction to approaching vehicles with these whistles as without.
