Quality Lens
Great lens for the price. Only downside is that it is fully manual and not able to do autofocus. This makes it hard to capture birds in flight and get detailed photos. But for still instances, it works well with expertise and practice. Here are some of the pictures I have taken with it. I have had this lens for a year now, now upgrading to a Sigma 150-600 mm lens for the Autofocus capabilities. I really appreciated this lens for the convenient price.

It's alright (Read)
This is amazing for the price, but it lacks autofocus and has a somewhat pixelated image. You get what you pay for, and it's also pretty shaky, but still great.

Great price and quality
I'm a novice when it comes to photography, and I've never used a ridiculously expensive lens, so I can't speak to comparisons, but I love the shots I get with this one. A tripod is definitely a must use, and I don't have a remote, so I use the camera timer to let it settle down after pushing the button. I have a Canon R100, and it fit right up. With some time and effort in making those adjustments, I can say I'm fully satisfied with the results. Pictures are 2 at 800mm and one at 600mm

KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BUYING!!!
A few things you should know before purchasing this lens. It is FULL MANUAL, it says that upfront in the instructions. That being said, there are NO PINS, nothing to connect the lens' functions to the camera, so adapters won't work. Make sure you get the proper version for your camera. For example, I got the Canon ef/ef-s mount. It works fine with my T5i, 7DII, and 5DIV. However, my M50 and R6 with ef/ef-s adapters do not allow the cameras to shoot because without adapter pins to properly allow the lens to communicate to the body, the camera thinks the lens is loose, and will not fire. UPDATE: If the camera setting "release shutter without lens" is on, this may allow the adapters to work, however, your aperture setting will still read f00. The fit is tight and secure however, so you just have to make sure you get the proper version of this lens for the body to which you want to attach it. That said, it is what it is. Its a $50 novelty lens that indeed gets you 400-800mm. Its basically a kid telescope that you can attach to a dslr. Good focus IS possible for sharp photos with patience and good settings. To a point. LOTS of light is needed. Remember, this is full manual so aperture shrinks as you move from 400 to 800. Wanna shoot astro? Just be ready to accept grainy photos because your ISO is going to have to be STELLAR (see what I did there?) There is no way around it, its just a slow lens. The adjustment rings are solid, tight and smooth, almost a bit too tight. I would not recommend using the foot to mount to a tripod if you have anything larger than an M50--the foot ring allows for rotational adjustment but just that. You cannot slide the ring to adjust for balance (Unless i missed something--seems to be slotted). But again--remember, youre not paying 2K+ for this. Its a novelty lens, good for telephoto kicks, or to see if yo need 800mm (assuming you can get your mind past the shortcomings). Its solid, doesnt feel like a cheap piece of plastic, like its going to fall apart. The optics aren't amazing, but again--50 bucks for an 800mm...

Great quality for the price
I was a little skeptical about purchasing this lens but I must say I love it I use it with a canon EOS 4000D the quality is great image quality is great keep in mind there’s no autofocus this is a manual lens it’s a bit heavy if you have a steady hand great if not I suggest using a tripod other than that it’s very easy to use

Fun to have for the price, but...
So it's very cheap for a giant lens, and I'd say get it if you don't already have a long zoom and don't plan to pay 10x for a good one. They aren't the greatest lenses. Not super sharp and lots of color fringe. NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE, but not great. The main reason it doesn't do much for me is because the overall finished output with this low end zoom lens, matched to a good R100 body, is very similar to the quality of pictures I get with an older Panasonic bridge model. Good lens + mini sensor holds up very well against a good APS-C sensor with a bargain lens. And the bridge camera has image stabilizing and auto focus for a very convenient shooting experience. However, if you don't already have an old-but-good super zoom bridge camera sitting around, you can't just go get one for this price. So factor in all of that. It's going to be one of the cheapest lenses you buy for a mirrorless camera, and it does provide a function you can't get easily otherwise.

Please note it is manual only -- move the camera dial to M, otherwise it will say lens not recognized; and manually select ISO and aperture if need be. It seems solidly built. The manual focus ring adjusts the focus very slowly, which means you have to turn it a lot but is good since you can get a good sharp visual focus. Pictures are sharp. If you want a budget lens that can capture targets hundreds of metres away close-up, this is it. This was on a Nikon D3300. Double-check compatibility before buying.

It has decent zoom but not a wide variety of distances within its limits. There a bit of a rainbow when zoomed in too much. A decent tripod is almost a necessity. Learning curve is steep, as it can be difficult to work with (may be the same for all zoom lenses), to zoom, focus and adjust settings on camera just to take one shot. All in all, it's a decent lens at a good price. Good to learn and practice with. Rating may be higher once I get better working with it....better results/pictures UPDATED: I've had a chance to better use the lense. The pictures it took were quite good, even without a tripod (but still...get one!). Im still working on using different zoom lenghts. Attached pics were taken "across the lake" For the price, it is likely what I will need. Rating has been increased accordingly.
