It's the right size
Costco sells a model that 2 inches less in diameter and that 2 inches makes this look right for a 14X14 square foot room. Very quiet fan. The unit is closer to the ceiling than traditional units.

Remote control stopped working
I've been trying to contact the manufacturer but they stopped responding. They suggested I buy a remote control replacement which I want to do, but they don't give me the correct information on how or where to buy it. David from Artika customer support is the person that stopped responding.

Contemporary look, lots of light, moderate fan capabilities - installation notes
The media could not be loaded. I live in a place where it gets hot. The house came with old-style ceiling fans. They all worked, but some made noise like they were wearing out, others had slight balance problems and would wobble just a bit, and they had multiple bulbs sticking down and were kind of ugly. The fans also were the main source of light in the rooms, so I had the choice of on/bright and off/dark. These new, modern fans don't move as much air, but they do fine. They look much nicer than the old-style fans, and they produce much better light. The light has six levels of brightness, and the fan has three speeds.Installation was a snap for a solo do-it-yourselfer, but if I wasn't moderately handy, I'd call in a favor from a friend who knew a little bit about home projects. The electrical connections were easy as well, but if I knew nothing about electrical wiring, I would have been a little anxious.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to install if you know basic electric wiring like changing power outlet and if not you still have the manual set up..i saw a video on youtube how to install same brand and works like a champ..led.light ia super bright but you can lower the brightness with control thats awsome...must buy..sadly i couldnt get another for my kids room because bunk bed..

Customer support sucks
The fan is good but if you loose the remote then getting help from Artika is nightmare. Don’t even try to contact by email or phone , you will get frustrated and never want to buy their products .But then saving grace is , if you buy their products from Costco, they can deal with these notorious guys properly or return the item to warehouse .Their product is great but no matter how great the product is . I’d prefer to stay away because of their poor customer service .
