I was feeling slight itching all over. Claritin did not seem to help. I thought that it might be from high histamine in foods and that I needed more DAO enzyme. This seems to start in summer when my tomato harvest is coming in and I am eating one everyday. However, once histamine levels get high than other histamine foods even with low levels can keep this perpetuating. I also added Zyrtec and found that worked better for me than Claritin. So I will keep this supplement as an option when I see that I may be needing it.

There are other brands that are also real DAO and are cheaper, however. (Not the histame, which stopped having DAO years ago. Watch the ingredients.)I have a histamine intolerance and rely on this stuff. I just don't like paying the big premium to doctor whoever.

I've been histamine intolerant for a few years now (probably most of my life but it only severely affected my diet for 10 years) and discovering DAO has been a godsend. It doesn't allow me to eat "normally" but I get fewer symptoms when I eat out or otherwise choose to eat moderate histamine foods.A couple years ago, some evil company either created or bought the patent and forced every company to stop selling it. The main ones actually lied in their online marketing and only changed the ingredient panels of their packaging. I ended up with green tea extract (which is high in histamine!) blends and they didn't work at all.So I was really glad to find Histazyme. I don't know how things have changed such they can get the real thing, but they've got it. I've used this product on several occasions now and it knocks symptoms down just as well, if not better, than the DAO I used in the past.

Better to provide third party test on actual inside gut Dao activity.

My low score has nothing to do with the quality of this product. For me personally, I just couldn't tolerate it. My stomach burned and I got very hot gas, no gas pain just really hot smelly gas, eeeewww. I tried 4 separate times and had the same symptoms each time. I found another brand that doesn't have as many added ingredients (I think it may have been a reaction to the sucrose) and the other brand works fine, no side effects.I'm not discouraging anyone from purchasing this specific brand, my intent of writing this review is to let people know that if they try one brand and it doesnt work well, try other brands until you find the one that works best for YOUR body's unique quirks.

I have histamine issues & this product helps me enjoy some high histamine food & drink that I had given up. Small & easy to swallow. Very happy with histazyme.

Hello, I've recently been diagnosed with MCAS and my doctor recommended that I start taking DAO. After much research, I chose to purchase Histazyme through Amazon. When I received my order, it was in a bottle labeled Primal Earth Probiotic with sticky label stating it to be DAO Enzyme.Without having anything to compare it to and this being my first order of something I will need to continue taking, I have great concern that I'm actually receiving the correct product.Can you please explain why the bottle is being shipped with an incorrect label and how you can assure me that I'm getting the correct product.
