My favorite karambit ever
Hello. This might get lengthy, let me apologize in advance. I have a massive karambit collection. Toor knives, bastinelli, tarani, fox, 5.11 the list goes on. This blows most of them out of the water. This is the second iteration of the c1394 which is based on the bastinelli/microtech feather karambit. I own the original, which has been discontinued (at $220) and I prefer the canku versions. The original is probably 9/32” or 8mm roughly thick and like these chisel ground. Not good for normal edc tasks like let’s say cutting an apple. The c1394 is much thinner, maybe 1/8” thick. These knives come razor sharp, chisel ground but sharpened from both sides. The first iteration is very thin overall along with the sheath (pictured on the left of my photo). The sheath for the first version was perfect for my needs. My only issue with the original feather and the first c1394 was no handle scales. Well as you can see they’ve added handle scales! For me this makes this knife as close to perfect as I could ever want. The sheath that comes with the second version (with handle scales in the center of my photo) is nothing like the first version. Retention is ok but I couldn’t carry it like the original or the first c1394. Luckily I can make my own kydex or leather sheaths and after some trial and error I managed to make some for the scaled second version. This knife feels perfect in the hand, forward or reverse grip. They also hold a decent edge and sharpen easily. This is an amazing value and whoever added scales to this deserves a raise!! I’d love to see a restructured sheath similar to the ones I’ve made but I’ll continue buying these anyway. Canku, please continue offering amazing deals and reworking these designs as needed. Leave the c1394 alone though, it’s perfect. If you like karambits, buy it. I’d like to see an offering for the green scales on a raw/silver blade too if that’s possible. Thanks for reading and sorry for the novel!!

Cool little knife for the price
Seems well made, and sharp enough for general use. Fits my hand very well and the ergonomics actually make it very useful for scoring and making precise cuts. And for the price, you may as well get two!

Great buy
Was skeptical at first but when I opened it today, definitely a solid piece. Arrived sharp. No marks. Comes with a great sheath. Bigger than I expected but that's no problem. I may buy another. Thanks to the company!!
