Didn't Notice It Said "US Army" Was Hidden By The Collar. Also, The color of the jacket is a lot lighter then shown on image, which is disappointing in itself! It's deceiving! Not as rich in color as advertised! With that said, the size is perfect, and the feeling is great! If I decide to keep it, I will always feel conscious of falsely advertising that I am, or was in the Army. Jacket color advertised is a rich beige, with darker color fleece.

This jacket is very warm and seems to be great quality. The size was pretty accurate. My only complaint is that the picture makes it look a little slimmer at the waist. In reality, it looks like a normal bulky winter coat. Nothing wrong with that but if you’re going for style, it’s not quite as expected. You can flatten out the lapel and scrunch the sleeves like in the picture to make it look better, but your lower half will still look frumpy. If your body type needs a little extra room in the belly, I’d say go for it. It’s very comfortable.

I bought this as a new camping/hiking/outdoorsman jacket. So far I have put it through the gauntlet of being rained on, thrown around, muddied-up, and generally mistreated. I did not notice the faux fur lining at the time of purchase but I have found this to be a bonus when backpack camping in 40-50 degree weather. It is also washing-machine-washable, which I was worried about at first, but I have not noticed any degradation to the cuffs/zipper/lining thus far. The upside is that this is thick, sturdy, and quite warm. The downside is that it can heat up fast when hiking with overnight gear and I found myself taking it off and securing it to the backpack at times so I could cool down. Advice: Get a size larger than anticipated (not because its small) but because you will probably be wearing layers underneath. This also does not have a hood attached (Some people care about that - I do not) but figured I would put it out there. If you really want to enhance this item, get a can of spray water repellant from whatever outdoor store you subscribe to and give this thing some hefty exterior coats, goes a long way.
