Facebook Marketing For Dummies Paperback – May 8, 2018

I'm getting serious about using Facebook to promote my business. This book is great and full of useful information. Definitely a good tool in my toolbox

Wow, I'm so discouraged right now.The title would lead you to believe that this book would help you grow your business through Facebook marketing.The whole book....THE WHOLE BOOK.....was dedicated to the most basic instructions on how to set up your Facebook page for your business. It started off by letting you know how to set up a Facebook page. This could have been ghostwritten by an 11-year-old. Then by the very end of the book there were several pages....I repeat, SEVERAL PAGES....dedicated to instructing you on how to set up your Facebook username.I learned absolutely nothing about how to grow businesses through Facebook marketing.If you're just getting acquainted with computers and want to expand your knowledge beyond something known as....the POWER BUTTON....then you may learn a thing or two here. However, I think you would be well-advised just to go on a site known as "Facebook" and see where that takes you. You'll learn a lot more quickly.I had high hopes for this book based on the excellent Digital Marketing for Dummies by Ryan Deiss. If you're looking for a solid book in this field, go there.Unfortunately, it seems as if the Dummies series outsourced the writing of this book to some dude they found off of Fiverr. Wiley Publishing - please take this off the market. Like today.

I guess I'm REALLY a dummie, because I found it very difficult to follow. Not for me.

Search worked only on key words not subjects, and you had to scroll through all the hits to see if you can determine what is pertinent. Badly done. This is not for dummies, dummies would never even start trying to figure this one out.

This book has very little actual content. After you've read the first ten pages, you feel like you're reading the same material over and over and over again. You'll be much better off doing some searching on the web and you'll save a few dollars.

This book is outdated with the new interface on FB. Very frustrating!
