Reactive metal rivets, food safe??
We bought this to boil water and make tea. The rivets that attach the handle to the pot, are made of some type of reactive metal. When we make tea in the pot, the tea and metal react and a yellow corrosion forms. We have tried two different types of tea and both cause the corrosion. I don’t feel safe using the pot for food any longer.
