Lovely crafters "different" project. I bought this one looking for something different to do, and loved it! Not sure what I'll do with the thing now that it's done, but I enjoyed the process of putting it together! Way less mess than a paint by numbers for sure! Very easy to do - even with "giggle translate directions" (auto correct text from a friend that I coined...because the instructions on how to use these are laughable). Abbreviated directions: do not eat the beads. Do not remove the plastic wrap all the way - only move the part from the location that you are working on. Put working color bead in tray, use stick to pick the "rounded" side of bead up and place flat side on corresponding spot on the canvas. Keep any portions of the canvas not being used with the plastic covering. If the stick gets "unsticky" there is a pink square in the kit - remove one of the top plastic protective layers and push your stick deeply into the pink square. (I had to learn this from a friend) This will make your stick sticky again for about 80 beads. Expect to NOT have the end result look like the picture - nothing made with beads can be as smooth as a picture. All in all - looking for something different to do - this is a fun crafting item to work with!

Diamonds (made of plastic with a shiny diamond tip) cover the entire canvas of this sunflowers painting. It took me months to complete this, which is fine, but it is a great idea to keep the plastic covering, so you can replace it, especially on the sticky portions, while you're not working on it.The seller of this diamond painting kit did an excellent job of providing plenty of extra packets of each number (color) needed to finish the painting, so if you have a bag of diamonds that have a lot of flaws, there is another bag you can use. I noticed that there were NOT a lot of flaws, though there were some (meaning diamonds glued together, or partial diamonds - sometimes there were little slivers or tiny, dusty pieces that stuck to the bigger diamonds - be careful of those). The little slivers/dusty pieces (especially the black ones) stuck to the canvas and then the bigger diamonds sometimes wouldn't stick, and although the bigger diamonds are easier to move, those slivers of pieces and the dusty pieces are VERY hard to remove from the canvas.Other than that minor issue, I had no complaints or problems with the canvas, the key (there are A LOT of different letters and symbols, but the key is easy to follow), or the diamonds. It was a time-consuming project, but a lot of fun, and I liked the challenge. The size of the canvas (just the part that has diamonds on it) is 12 x 15.5 inches. The frame is a 14 x 18, matted to an 11 x 13.

I feel like for the amount of detail in this piece, it should be larger, as to not be so pixelated. But...when it comes down to it, I bought this for entertainment, not to hang in a gallery or anything. The gems are higher quality than the previous kit I purchased, I've completed about 20 colors so far, and I haven't run out or short on any colors yet. I love that the color key is right on the piece....very handy! I like how they have the packages very clearly numbered. Symbols are clear and easy to read. It comes with little bags for the spare gems- nice touch! Also, the pen has a corrector end, where I suppose you could also use to put several gems on at once. I like it as a corrector to get my gems 100% in line. Not to mention, the gem packs are easy to open without spilling them everywhere. The packaging is tear open, so that's great. All in all, the price was excellent, shipping was fast, and I'm having fun seeing it come together...pixelation or not.

I'm excited to see how this turns out! It's very easy and a nice simple project to keep me busy and do something more than watch TV in our sub-zero temps. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because there were no directions in the package whatsoever. I read other reviews and watched a YouTube video to learn the best way to go about creating this. One helpful tip I learned was to only peel back the plastic on the small corner you're working on. This will keep the sticky mat from getting dirty. The wax lasts a long time....you dip it in and it really goes far. This project takes awhile - don't expect to finish it an evening - but it is fun to watch it come together.

This was my first diy diamond project. Had plenty of beads of each color. They even gave about 10 little sealed bags to put the beads in. When I finished, I used mod podge on top. Wow! It did make a difference. Love it! Now going to have to search for a frame now and then hang it in my bathroom. :)

loved the image except thatbitbwasbhard to read and completely wrinkled. laid it out with heavy items on it over night to see if it would help but it was behind help .. totally disappointed that they have to roll these up and it completely ruins the art. some I've ordered from other companies only fold it in half , much better that way.

Some of the symbols on the legend were a little difficult to differentiate, but if you find the corresponding numbers and look to see where they are on the canvas, process of elimination clarifies which is which. (Green doesnt go in the sky, for example.) There are plenty of gems in each color to complete each area and the adhesive for the dots works really well. I like the clear cover because I like to do all the dots of one symbol before moving to the next one. The finished product looks really nice!

This project was fun! The instructions were clear, all the pieces were included, and the finished product looked great.
