Excellent adaptor - fits and works perfectly onmy Tesla
Decided to take the plunge and fit a 32amp Commando style socket to charge my Tesla. This adaptor is only a little more than the Tesla one but fits and looks identical.Have been charging my car for last 2 weeks using this adaptor - at 16amp (it can do upto 32 amp).Total cost of my update was £90 - instead of having to pay £1000 to get a fancy dedicated charger installed.

Reliable Power Conversion for Your Caravan, Camper, and Motorhome Needs!
Pros:Versatility: Allows the use of equipment with a 16A plug in locations where only 13A sockets are available, enhancing compatibility across different power setups.Convenience: The 50cm length provides flexibility without excessive cable bulk, making it easy to connect devices in various settings.Durability: Constructed with robust materials to withstand regular use, ensuring longevity and reliability.Safety Compliance: Designed to meet safety standards, offering peace of mind during operation.Cons:Current Limitation: While the adapter allows connection to a 13A socket, it does not increase the current capacity. Therefore, devices requiring more than 13A may not function properly or could pose a safety risk.Potential Overload Risk: Using high-power devices through this adapter can lead to overloading the 13A socket, potentially causing overheating or tripping circuit breakers. Not Waterproof: The adapter may not be suitable for outdoor use in wet conditions unless specified as weatherproof, limiting its applicability in certain environments.

Electric adapter for camping
Great value, good if you often have electric hook up etc. No issues at all.

A beefy adapter cable
The cable is marked "EVC H07BZ5-F 3X2.5mm² 450/750V EN50620 NSW29049 Dongguan Lanyue Electronic Technology Co.,Ltd". These standards normally refer to EV charging cable, which makes sense. The cable is fitted with a round, moulded UK mains plug at one end. At the other end of the foot-long cable is a 16A "blue-top" IEC60309-2 trailing socket. The cable passes a portable appliance test (PAT) with flying colours, and cutting through the conductors shows they're copper rather than copper clad aluminium (CCA) or copper clad steel (CCS), neither of which would be desirable. They're also the claimed 2.5mm² cross-sectional area, as 2.5mm² crimp ferrules are a perfect fit.If you have a touring caravan for example, this is a useful addition as it means you can plug your caravan in at home to recharge leisure batteries, etc. using your existing pitch hook-up cable together with this adapter.

Well made and connectors are as expected
Not much to say about this, it is a generous 30cm fly lead between a 13A UK plug and a standard blue socket. The blue socket is behind the usual spring loaded flap to stop it getting unexpected things stuck in the holes when not in use.Obviously although blue is typically a 16A output, you will only get 13A of actual power out of this due to the 13A plug (which also makes sense, as that will be plugged into a 13A socket of course..)

NOT suitable if you want to use more than 13 amps
Fuse keeps blowing as it’s not really a converter . It still allows a draw of 32 amps which is not suitable with a 13 amp plug!
