Easy to use and works well
Does what it says on the tin, but you must stir and mix it well.Used a proper tar brush instead of a paint brush which made using the paint much easier.Covers well, goes onto the surface easily and seals quickly, no real mess if used correctly.Cleaned brush in white sprit, very easy to clean off.Doesn’t really dry off but forms a flexible skin.Recommended A+++++

Great
I used this to repair a chimney. It’s amazing stuff. So much better than cheap flashband. This is more aimed at professional jobs where having it stick is really important. I wouldn’t use it (or any other type) without a heat gun.The backing comes off easily and sticks without issue. It’s a bit more money than the cheap ones but if you need it to stay then it’ll be worth it.If you need to repair house roof or similar this is the one to use.

Easy to use for easy DIY fixes
I didn't know what I was doing at first, didn't seem sticky at all, I thought something had to be peeled off but nope, it just isn't sticky when its cold. Heres what you do. Heres what you do. First just clean and dry the surface. It says use primer and stuff but for basic things forget it. Ideally its not cold out so its not that sticky. So just unravel it a bit and with the black side down just lay it where you want it and cut it off. Then just get a hair dryer and heat the top(grey) bit while holding it where you want it. The glue stuff will then melt and stick to the surface. Make sure to push down on all parts of the tape, ideally get a roller or something and run the edge along it as if your pushing bubbles out of a phone screen protector so its all pressed into the surface properly. I used the edge of a old credit card. Its a lot easier to flex and shape for things like corners when its heated too. Then thats pretty much it. Let it cool down and solidify. Seems like it works perfect the way I did it but for new builds or paid work then do it properly.

Black Jack
Useful to apply around the base of our shed to make a damp course and protect the wood from rotting.

Best stuff on the market
I first purchased this tape 10 years ago for a bonding tape between my twin wall polycarbonate deck cover roof and side of my timber frame house, excellent bonding all these years. This recent purchase I used on my tin sheeted roof of garage, same adhesion that I was use to. Unfortunately, the difference between the old and new rolls was that the old roll had a grey coloured vinyl covering and the new rolls of Black Jack have a waxed paper covering. As I was needing to lay a beading of 5 meters to cover the length of the tin sheets, I was having to remove a couple of meters of tape. The slight wind that day, on occasion blew the removed paper over the exposed sticky tape and the paper stuck to the tape and was a real bother trying to remove! The old version of Black Jack did not have that problem.

Very good product for a flat roof repair
Easy to cut and lay even for a very amateur DIYer

Poor Adhesion
This flashing required a lot of heat from a heat gun to melt the adhesive in order to get it to adhere to a wood surface. I had to redo several areas which subsequently lifted ever after applying with heat. Would not use this brand again as have not had this problem before.
