I disagree with comments that say the strips are inaccurate. I bought a box of 100. When I got some alarming test results, I got the Master Test Kit. It turned out my KH was really 0, with low PH. I found the results to be very close to each other, though the results are easier to read on the Master Kit.Even though I have the Master Kit, I use the strips most of the time. A lot more convenient.

Fish are still alive since last August.

I love the price point on these. They're a must-have for any aquarium owner and are ridiculously expensive if you purchase directly from a pet store. 10 for $25 versus 100 for the $11 that I paid for them. Great product!

Easy and works very well for quick and accurate-enough water checks. Not accurate enough for knowing exactly where your water is though. These are good to identify problems, not so good for precisely dialing in water parameters. That said, the fact that it is so easy means one will do it more, so hopefully one will know of issues before they become a problem. I prefer these for my kid's tank. I wish they had one that included an ammonia test on the all-in-one strip. I use another test kit for ammonia. The GH and KH on these are rough at best and not too useful for me.

I use these to test for nitrite, nitrates and PH, and from my tests using these vs standard drop bottle test kits are fairly accurate. I just want to be sure I don't need to do a water change so use these every few weeks to make sure all the bad parameters aren't building up. I hate having to break out the full test kit as i only use that if a major issue occurs or setting up a new tank or if dosing meds. PH is usually spot on, well best it can be with color gradient on strip, but good enough to let me know tank is stable. Overall very happy with product and saves time.

Very useful when needing to check the balance of the water

Not sure how to read the results, or the meaning of how hard water water effects the water quality. No instructions on how to read these.
