This is a very beautiful, very displayable, very real katana.It's very well made and comes in a very lovely sheath. The design of the handle with dragon molding is exquisite.I mentioned this was a very real sword because it's very sharp and the blade is very sturdy. It fits well in hand and feels balanced. At this price you should have no regrets either.

obviously this is a display katana so it’s kinda heavy and not very sharp, but it looks badass and that’s all i wanted out of it.

It's a Lil heavy but that's perfect for cutting down animals for hunting and practice extremely sharp.

Beautiful sword for display or costume. The visual details are well done, the finishes are clean. The fit to the scabbard is snug. In my hand the balance is a bit off though, and is point heavy. I have a few other katana style swords and the balance does not compare favorably to those. It is not unusable, but something to be aware of if you want to do any display swinging of the sword or attempt to slice some jugs, fruits, or tatami. It is sharp out of the box and will definitely slice flesh, so use caution when handling. To be absolutely clear, this is NOT a toy sword. It is real steel, and is actually sharpened, not just edge ground with a "false edge".

I have always been obsessed with Japanese culture, especially the martial arts and Samurai culture. I ordered the Kamaiwo Japanese katana Sword to add to my sword collection and display.As soon as I opened the package I was extremely impressed with the quality and beauty of the sword. The sheath is made of solid wood and was polished very nicely (it was the same as the shine on a piano!). The handle wrap is tight and looks good and the solid metal hand guard is a beautifully crafted dragon. The blade is beautifully crafted as well and has a great silver fire-like pattern on the black blade. Unlike some cheap display swords this on IS sharpened and is a functional weapon so be careful when handling it. The blade, like most others, has oil put on prior to shipping but that was easily cleaned off. It is to protect the blade and is meant to be there.The only problem I have is that the sheath and the sword don't line up so that it slides in easily. I have to turn it slightly to get it to align to get the sword completely inside. It's the only reason for my 4 star review.For only $78, I honestly wasn't expecting too much besides a nice display piece but I was pleasantly surprised. It is well made, functional and beautiful to boot. Is it going to stand up to the zombie apocalypse, probably not, but, for the price, it's a great display piece and a nice practice weapon.

This katana is a lovely addition to our display. It is very sharp and a completely functional sword. I wanted it as a display piece, and it meets that need very well. Love this katana. Excellent value.

Looks incredible mounted on the wall. Engraving a filigree looks stunning. Not to heavy but doesn't feel cheap, sharp blade not to be messed with.
