Gone Fishing
Bear and Hare are good friends. Bear loves to fish and Hare tags along carrying Bear's equipment, playing with the worms, and making daisy chains. Bear catches weird stuff: Hare's hat, a frog, but not an actual fish. Bear fishes until he gets very sleepy. Hare decides to see what's going on and surprise - you and your child need to study the illustrations to catch the humor. The page paper stock is heavy in this book. The illustrations are fun. There aren't a lot of words in this story. Would say it's perfect for the 3 to 5 years-of-age set. If your child likes fishing, summer, bears and hares, a little humor, they should enjoy this story.

Mylah has grown up with Emily's wonderful books. This one is clever
Mylah has grown up with Emily's wonderful books. This one is clever, sweet and simple, sometimes that's just what we need in today's busy world. As usual, the illustrations are captivating. Mylah was disappointed when Grandpa and I travelled to England and didn't meet Emily Gravett! What a wasted trip, ha!
