Nice purse sized note book. Should be helpful in assisting me with tracking my daily spending.

I am in love with leather and I am into art. Both are the reasons I selected this nice little treasure. It feels good, it smells good and it's useful. All the features seem so well thought-out. I love that it is easily refillable and that I can even make my own refills. (In my art world, everybody seems into this kind of booklet. People fill with drawing and watercolor paper -- often to insert into their own homemade versions of this same layout/concept. (Youtube videos abound on the subject of making the outsides and the insides.)So many things about it to like. The paper is sturdy as is the leather cover. Solid. There is a see-through plastic insert, in addition to the two paper booklets, that can be removed or kept...front one for cards, etc and at the back, a zippered see-through pocket. One of the booklets has lined paper and the other has no lines. Perfect for notes and sketches.I can't believe the great QUALITY feel of this unit. It feels great to hold, to touch! There is a stretch band to hold entire thing closed, if desired...but also at front and back openings there are classy, sturdy grooved metal pieces to protect the leather from creasing the leather when closed. Quality...nothing cheap-seeming about this. (The pen is not included.)
