I saw this book while I was in Harrods and flicked through the pages in amazement, I have seen quite a few LV trunks in collectors hands and love the amount of detail put into them. I knew they were used in the days of liners and stored outside of cars. But the amount of vintage and modern designs do blow my mind, I can imagine people putting medical equipment into one of these but I saw one with designed as a shower it is something you expect Jeeves to pull out for Bertie Wooster to use when he somewhere that requires such an over the top item. It is a lot cheaper to buy it on Amazon compared to a normal bookstore, shipping was free and it arrived quickly as predicted.This is a great investment as the photos are of high quality and extremely detailed. I can't rave more about this book, I love it and I am sure if you are interested in trunks LV is the one brand which most people collect. If you can't afford the original trunks you might as well settle for second best this beautiful book.Thanks for reading ZP

A book I had been wanting to purchase for a while but the wait was worth it, the book is recommendable to any die hard fashion fans and even fans of the individual brand because the amount of research into this book is phenomenal. It really demonstrates that the brand is more than just a logo and is more about true craftsmanship, the stories behind each trunk is really interesting to read.

Marvellous Book about all the Legendary Vuitton Trunks! Great Read if you like little details about their illustrious customers!Ordered it 2nd hand too bad the quality wasn't as good as described: no dust jacket, some pages glued together general wear and scuffs. That was the only Drawback. But Great book to have!

Sehr schönes, aufwendig gestaltetes und interessantes Buch. Leider lässt es sich auf dem Tisch liegend nicht wirklich durchblättern. Man muss es in der Hand halten ?!?

This is truly a magnificent book and I would highly recommend it. It is well written and provides a journey into the world of practical luxury that started the Louis Vuitton fashion empire. There are historical images and there is also a history of the famous people who commissioned the works, from explorers to royalty. It is both entertaining and visually appealing, worth every cent.

日本語に翻訳されたバージョンは２万円オーバーですが、オリジナル版はアンダー１万円でネット購入できますので、お得感があります。内容はかなり充実しているビジュアル本で、ツラツラと眺めているだけでも楽しめます。ＬＶのアンティークトランクは近年、価格が高騰しているみたいですので（１０年くらい前に比べると倍くらいする様子）、せめてもの目の保養に。「こんなものも特注で作っていたのか」と驚くようなトランクにもお目にかかれます。

I bought this book as a gift, and I've never seen anyone so happy! The pictures inside are almost as rich as the LV history that is outlined in it!
