The most important thing, is will it fit your weed eater the way it's supposed to. Because keeping it centered & on tight is extremely important. If it's off center just a little bit, it will shake the whole weed eater & can burn up your lower head bearing.This is made really well, so it has some weight to it. It's not really made to go on the cheaper bent shaft weed eaters. It works better for the long straight ones. It will cut through the thickest weeds fast. If you're good with them, it will edge like a dream. Just don't want to hit the concrete with it or it will do some damage to both.Definitely better then the plastic weed eater attachments. Because those can wear out unevenly & cause vibration. That can wear out the lower head bearing.I only gave it 4 stars because it has to be perfect & it can cause damage to your equipment. Otherwise it's a great value for the money.

This is a beast. My Milwaukee M18 handled it, but it didn't like it. If you have a decent weed eater, this is it. I chopped branches off with this thing

A blade broke off after about 10 minutes of use in some light brush/grass. Could have easily killed someone standing close by.

It cone with no hardware, and despite it being "Universal" it is not.It does seem to be well made.

Dislike was the hassle it was to get it to mount, having to source the needed hardware. The good thing about it is once you do have it on there it can cut through just about any brush or debris you have.

To small for my weed trimmer had to buy staller hardware and it still didn't work

I'm not going to be able to rate this until I find what I need to use this trimmer. I didn't read that the hardwear required would need to be bought separately, to the trimmer has been sitting around here unused due to that fact.When and/or if I find what I need to mount this trimmer, I'll post a review but I just wanted to warn others that the pictures showing the adapters is only for those that own the adapters.

It was advertised as universal but it DID NOT fit my trimmer- no use in returning this small priced item- waste of my time
