Handmade at the feet of the Pyrenees, every instrument is the result of extremely precise craftsmanship. 8 strings of varying lengths are attached to the base of a cylindrical sound box using silver. The precise tuning results in a sound chime of pure tones, which is rich in overtones. The overtones of the shortest strings gradually become dominant, thereby becoming fundamental tones and creating a circular tone sequence. Koshi wind chimes are available in four moods. Each has its own magic tone and can be played harmoniously with all others. The tubes that are manufactured in the Koshi workshop from bamboo veneer are treated with natural oil. It is therefore only partially weatherproof and protective oil should regularly be applied (e.g. Teak oil).
