Great for fine motor
Great way to strengthen fine motor muscles. They are easy to use and children really like them. They work great in sensory bins with rice, beans, water beads, and sand. They can also be used to make math or letter activities way more inviting. The only issue is that the 3-4-year-old is pretty rough on toys and sometimes open them backwards till they break. I always try to turn lemons into lemonade and tell the children that now we have to spoons...Great product really supports a child's development and I do recommend trying these. Your child will enjoy them!!

Great for building fine motor skills
I initially purchased these as replacements for a pair that came with a fun Muffin Matching game that I also purchased on Amazon. But my son uses them for other things too, like picking up bugs outside. It’s easy enough to grasp and squeeze, but still helped him with developing fine motor skills!

Still working after a full school year
My Preschool classroom (3 yr. and 4 yr. olds) use these to pick up a variety of items. After one full school year they were still in very good condition and working. It takes the 3s kids extra time to use them appropriately with their hand but they built some persistence when trying. I’d purchase ahgain as needed.

Fun. But smaller than expected.
These are fun but I would choose the other kind that open and close Like scissors. These were smaller than I thought. They can hold about a small gumball.

Perfect for fine-motor development
This is used in a pre-k classroom with 3-4 year olds. These are perfect for games and activities to develop pincer grasp. Kids love them and they hold up very well.

Disapointed by the size and function
I purchased these to work on pre-scissor skills with students. Unfortunately, they were too small to grasp water beads or larger pom poms. They were ok for smaller pop poms, but not as motivating as I expected they would be. I think it's important to consider the size before they are purchased.
