They are thin and made from soft metal, that can be easily moulded to fit braids or locks of various thicknesses. Unfortunately, the gold plating on these sorts of pieces does not last long - especially if there are products in your hair or on your braids, and will need to be changed after a couple of days to keep your look fresh. This makes the quantity of 48 pieces quite meagre. However, at a price of £2.69 buying multiple packets might not seem so daunting.

These hair pieces are an expensive looking ‘true’ gold tone (not too rose or too yellow). I have used this type of clip for a long time with period ‘wigs’ and they add so much dimension, texture and detail to looks. I have bought these in this instance to secure over hair bands at the end of braids. These are perfect for that purpose, you can squeeze each hair piece firmly around a hair tie or on to a braid to secure it. I like the detail on every one of these pieces, very royal. They are easy to bend into place and catch the light well. There is a good number in this pack so I don’t need to worry about losing a few. Very satisfied with the finish, quantity and quality.
