Aquarium water change pump retails at £50 plus
This can be used straight from a 12V battery and comes with plenty of hose. No more heavy lifting to change fish tank water. Pumps out and back in no problem.

Small, quiet, efficient pump but it can only run for 20 mins max
The media could not be loaded. The pump is small and conveniently runs on 12 volts. It comes with 5 meters of clear plastic tube. However, I found the tube to be very soft and it's difficult to get it not to kink; it would really need to be secured to something to guarantee the free flow of water when in use.The pump itself is fairly quiet during use and does indeed seem to provide a good flow of water. However, the supplied instructions say that the pump should not be run for more than 20 minutes continuously, otherwise it will overheat. I think this is an important omission from the product description.I did wonder if the pump could be completely submerged because of the lack of a seal around the electrical cable entry point. So tested it with the pump fully submerged and I left it going for a couple of minutes with no issue.So good results overall but the limitation on usage may be a show-stopper depending on the application.

Not self priming and low pressure
Very easy to use, but not sure about the silicon hose - feels a bit flimsy! The pump performs ok but has low pressure and isn’t self priming, meaning it is always running, was good value but i had to return as it didn’t suit my needs.
